Ryan's POV:
My name is Ryan Johnston, I'm 17 years old from the inner city of Cleveland, Ohio. I'm not like a lot of kids around here. Everybody's a thug, a shooter, a gang member or a tough guy. They're all stupid. I'm a bit of an intellectual. I'm peaceful, witty, some people say I'm cocky, but most of all, what sets me apart from these guys, I'm bisexual.
Today, I was on Facebook, I saw I had a friend request from a cute girl. We don't have any mutual friends, but I decided to accept anyway. What could go wrong? The girl's name is Emily Rose "Garlic Toast". I assume she doesn't like her last name if she'd rather be food. But, I'm not judging.
I wanted to know a little about her so I messaged her. The conversation was definitely unexpected:
Me: Hey.
Emily: Hi!
(Enthusiastic, I like that)
Me: Where are you from?
Her: Bloomington, Indiana.
Me: You must know my basic information, you found me on Facebook.
Her: " Information", you use long words.
Me: Kinda my thing.
Her: Music is my thing!
Me: Great lol. I'll ttyl.
Her: bye! :)
Me: bye
She's so... I don't know. She's weird and funny and awkward, and I like it. I have to talk to her again. Emily Rose, such a beautiful name. I pretty much stalked her profile, looking at pictures, learning more about her. She's 16, loves punk music, and she seems to act like an excited 18 year old. I love that about her.
Emily's POV:
Hi, my name is Emily Rose Eppinger. You can call my Emily Rose Garlic Toast. I have my father's last name, and my father ditched when I was a baby, so he can take his name with him.
I added this cute boy on Facebook today. He seems really smart. He's kinda hot too. I don't know how I found him, I just did for some reason. He looks like a guy I saw in a dream once. That's so cheesy, "the guy of my dreams." I wonder if he's gonna be my Prince Charming or my Romeo. This will either be amazing, or tragic. Based on my past experiences, it might be tragic.
I remember a dream where Ryan... Well, the guy that looks like him, was crying and staring at a lake. He was depressed. I remember I comforted him and he said he really liked me. I was shocked, I'm not that pretty, I'm just nice. But, he was truly interested in me.
I think I'm always going to remember that, especially now that I know the boy from my dream. It's all a little trippy to me, but I like that. Finally, something as weird as I am.
