Ch2- Unexpected Foreplay

~Flashback~
I walked into a white room, where I saw all the other applicants standing in different places. At least twelve feet away from each other. The tension in the air was so shady, it almost made me think of my dad's aura.

A giant door from the other side of the room suddenly opens up, showing an old man dressed as a scientist. "Hello, applicants; and welcome to the hunter exam. For starters, my name is Doctor Ichisaki."

The doctor walks towards a lever that is on the wall next to him. He slams it down, making the floor shake. "If you can pass this, then consider yourselves lucky." The doctor laughs out loud as he began to shrink.

All the applicants start to fall into a bottomless pit. I quickly latched onto something before I could fall any deeper. I look down seeing the other applicants screaming.

"That was certainly unpleasant~☆" A husky voice chuckles beside me. I look to my right, seeing a pale white man about a couple years older than me. I just huff out in annoyance and began to climb back up.

"Huh- sixteen of you made it? Hm, not bad for a couple of rookies." The doctor walks us to a door, where I completely shoved the other applicants out of the way, so I could get through myself.

"What was that for, brat?!" The other applicants scream out while shaking up their fists. "Ladies first, unless you wanted to go before me?" I glare back at them and keep moving forward.

Of course, with that boy following me every step of the way. "That glare of yours is so amusing~" The boy licks his lips and stares right into my eyes. "I assume you know Nen as well~?"

I keep quiet, but nod my head. "The pink substance you used in that bottomless pit, I'm guessing you're a Transmuter. Not to mention you are very straight forward of showing off your personality, even if we just met."

I see the boy smirk and cover his face, while he silently laughs. "Very observant, almost exciting~" The boy side eye's me as we continued walking. "My name is Hisoka, pleasure to meet you~

The boy takes my hand and kisses the top it. "Uh, (Y/N).." I snatch my hand back and wipe it on my shirt. "How charming, well I'm glad to be playing with you in this year's exam~" I nod my head and response with a "likewise."

I feel another weird presence among us as I push Hisoka out of the way, taking the hit for myself. "I must've forgotten that was down here. Right then, next challenge: kill that thing." The doctor then runs off like a coward.

I groan in pain and jump out of the way. "Go back to the pits of hell where you came from." I throw my marbles at the creature, making it trip and fall. Hisoka delivers the final blow by throwing cards into its head.

"Are you alright~?" Hisoka picks me up bridal style and smiles down at me. I look away to hide my blush and clutch my arm, which kinda had a large scratch from the hit I just took for Hisoka.

"My hero~♡" Hisoka kisses my bruised arm and wraps it up with his Nen. "Shall we keep going~?"

~time skip:
Hisoka: Another book~? How much can't you handle~?

(Y/N): I'm not enjoying this..

Hisoka: You will later on~

It's only been about three days, and Hisoka had already been disqualified for killing an examiner he didn't approve of. Yeah, it was the doctor form the first phase. He can hold a tight grudge, but can't hold it long enough for someone to make him snap.

We had a good time together, but Hisoka would always moan from time to time while glancing at me with his blood lust showing. Then he called me a "ripe fruit that has been waiting for him to be plucked."

I kinda slapped him for that, even though I didn't know what he meant. I was now on my way back home with my new Hunter license. But I suddenly spotted the SWAT Team from the Hunter Association right at my door.

Me being the curious cat, I ran over there to check it out. I looked through my front window to see my father being arrested. I rushed in there to try and stop them from taking him away. "Father!"

My dad looks down on me, but huffs out a negative breath and walked out the door. I watched them as they took my only parent away from me. I heard a knock on the back doorway..

I turn to see Hisoka smiling, while his hand was resting above the door frame. "What are you doing here?" I angrily asked, while trying to hide my sniffles. He smiled, and came a little closer, looking down at my height.

"I just followed you home to congratulate you on getting your license. But it seems you have been caught up in a dilemma~" Hisoka spreads out his arms, obviously waiting for me to come to him.

For a person with a quirky personality like his, he really knows how to be there for me. I wipe away my tears and cover my face in his chest. "Don't worry, my dear, I'm here for you~" Hisoka said in his delicate voice, making me feel calm.

~flashback ends~

I can still feel his warm arms wrapped around me. I smiled as I put my hand on my stomach. "(Y/N)!" I opened my eyes to see Netero knocking on the car window. I giggled as Netero helped me out of the car.

"Hello, Sensei." I hugged my old teacher as we walked into the airship. "Were you aware that your husband is an applicant for this year's Hunter exam?" Netero said, which made me rolled my eyes.

"Of course, I know.. I'm not surprised, he's failed the exam since we've met." I smiled and crossed my arms. "Oh, really?" Netero smirked and laughed with me. "Come on! Let's go meet the other examiners."
