"I saw you talking to him last night." Jadelynn teased with a sing-song voice. I closed my locker door just enough for me to shoot my sister an unamused glare, to which she responded with an impish giggle.

"How could I? The buildings are too far away to hear anyone actually talking." I attempted to hide my tracks with a flat, unbothered tone.

"Well I don't know. I just saw both windows wide open, you talking on your phone to someone, and that guy staring at you with these adorable googly eyes." She explained as I fumbled around in my locker.

"Jade! We're gonna be late for science, let's go!" I heard Catalina's lifted voice appear from behind the locker door, then a distant 'goodbye' from Jadelynn.

I continued bringing together the books and notes I needed for History class.

"Well if it isn't the dancing girl." A vaguely familiar voice suddenly appeared from behind me. I whipped my head around to see where the raspy voice had come from, hitting a boy's chest with my rose pink hair in the process. As my eyes travelled up to his face, I noticed he was stood closer than I had expected. My gaze stuck to his face - his brown eyes like pools of chocolate; his flawless eye makeup; his smooth imperfectionless skin. The boy in the window.

"So the creep has decided to stalk me in school as well? How comforting" I spoke sarcastically, leaning against the closed door of the locker next to my own.

"I'm not that creepy, am I?" He brought his arm up and scratched the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Let me put you in my shoes. Imagine you're spending time with your sister or brother, and then all of a sudden you see someone staring at you through your window."

"I guess that does seem pretty creepy." He chuckled.

"So what did you want?" I asked, coming across a little more harshly than I had intended.

"I wanted to know your name." He spoke very smoothly - as though he had done this before. What exactly, I wasn't sure.

"I told you the other day. None of your beeswax. It's French." I gave him a spiteful grin, then slid to the side, slamming my locker shut before casually walking in the direction of my History class.

"Springsteen, Madonna, way before Nirvana there was U2, and Blondie and music still on MT- AH!"

My quiet singing along to the record that was spinning on my player was interrupted by a heavy slap on my shoulders and a girl's head peering over.

"Hey, gorgeous." The girl's green eyes looked into my own, her crimson hair falling onto the desk.

"Ashlynn! Oh God I completely forgot you were coming over, I'm so sor-" My embarrassed babbling was interrupted by my girlfriend's lips pressing against mine gently.

"How about we just head to the skate park. A couple friends of mine are hanging out there tonight." She smirked at me, crouching so that she could look up at me.

"I- I don't know... Can we just watch a movie?" I stammered. I usually acted so confident, but Ash made me act so small.

"Quiet night in it is, then." The taller girl brought our lips together again. "Is anyone home?"

"Nope. Mom's got the night shift tonight and Jade's got Netball practice." I explained.

"Good." She softly kissed me once again, her arm slowly moving up my thigh. My hand instinctively gripped onto hers, pushing it further down. She pulled away and looked at me with pleading eyes.

"I'm sorry..." I said doubtfully.

"Um, Nomes? Why is there a guy looking at us?" I turned my head to the window, where I saw Remington standing there, his face looked.... hurt.

"Oh that's- that's the new neighbour. Ignore him."
