Chapter 6

I was exhausted from all the questions Sonia asked me, so the second I hit my bed, I fell asleep almost immediately.

"Nii-Chan." Kotarou says while waking.

"Hi, good morning Kotarou." I respond half asleep.

"What time is it-?" I check the clock next to me.

I only had half an hour to get ready for school and get there on time.

I quickly got dressed and fixed myself, I grabbed a slice of toast that Saikawa made for Kotarou and I. I finally walked out the door with my school bag over my shoulder, Kotarou holding my hand, and our lunch boxes in the other hand.

A couple minutes later of walking, we made it to the front of the school. I took both of our outdoor shoes off and put them in my small locker, and changed into our indoor shoes.

I don't know what time it is, but the bell for class hasn't rung yet, and I needed to get Kotarou into the daycare as soon as possible, to avoid the traffic that builds up in the hallways when it's time to go to classes.

I had Kotarou in my arms and headed my way to the daycare avoiding eye contact with others, not because I was emberassed I just didn't want to look anyone in the eyes right now, unless if it was Hayato.

I put Kotarou on the floor so I can open the door with ease.

"Kotarou-Kun!" Taka said running towards Kotarou and started hugging him.

"Taka-Kun." Kotarou says bluntly, while leaving a kiss on Taka's forehead.

Seriously, I will never get to used to that.

"Good morning Ryuu~." Yoshihito-San tells me.

"Good morning." I bow.

"You should start heading to class, the bell is going to ring soon." Yoshihito-san informs me.

"Ok, then, I'll see you later."

Almost on cue, the bell started ringing once I placed my hand on the door handle. I wave one last good bye to the little kids as I walk out of the room and start to head to my class.

I walk into the class and see Hayato already sitting down in his seat. A blush takes over my cheeks, which I try my best to hide.

The first two classes when smoothly, and now it was time for 3rd period.

"Alright students, good morn- never mind, it's noon, anyways, hey everyone, good afternoon. Most of you already told me what disease you plan on working on, so those who have, you're allowed to brainstorm ideas with your partner for what you're going to put on your poster, while I get the rest of the class situated." The teacher tells us.

I flip my chair to face the opposite direction, it was originally facing, to be able to communicate with Hayato better.

"So, do you have any ideas on how we should decorate our project?" Hayato spoke out.

"Ooo! I had this one idea! Ok, ok, so since the disease involves flowers, we should buy fake flower pedals and scatter them all throughout the poster board, but nicely." I suggest.

"Alright, I like that idea. When should we go out and buy the supplies?" He asks.

"What about today after school? Like we can drop off Taka and Kotarou at 'my' place and have Saikawa look after them, while we go shop." I say.

"Ok, but how should we split the work?" Hayato asks.

"I don't know, I guess until we get the poster board we'll know." I chuckled at the end.
