Chapter 12: Pass or Fail!

Hey guys I'm back! Sorry to keep you waiting, anyway I hope your Thanksgiving was great, and if you don't celebrate thanksgiving then I hope you had a nice day! Yes I live in the U.S,    New York to be exact, but not in the city I hate the city. No offence! By the way if anyone wants to give feedback I would love to read them! Also it's finally Christmas season!!!! Oh and beware this chapter is kinda long. Now back to the story!

I turned in my sleep and slipped my hand under my pillow to find out the dagger I always keep under it wasn't there! Something felt wrong, the bed was too soft, the air smelled different, and I don't sleep with pillows except the one with my dagger and yet I had 2 pillows, I could feel someone next to me, I would have thought it was Ashshiki but I knew better, her breathing and the breathing of the person or thing next to me didn't match. I kept my eyes shut, not wanting to alert the person of my waking.

'Ash! You there?' I asked

'No I'm on the moon, where else do you think I'm at?'

'Ah ah, funny. Do you know where we are? Is there a way out without getting caught? How many guards?'

'Calm down Naomi, your safe. Shikamaru just took you to his house since you feel asleep'

'WHAT?!? I gotta get outta here!! And WHO THE HELL IS NEXT TO ME?!? AND WHY IS THE PILLOW MOVING UP & DOWN?!?'

I open my eyes slowly to reveal a sleeping Shikamaru, his face looked so peaceful, even asleep he had that annoyed look on his face. Thats when I notice how close his face was to mine, his breath tickled my nose, my head rested on his chest, so it wasn't a pillow that moved up and down it was him, he had his arms wrapped around my waist. I felt my face blush slightly, I tried to back away but when I did he hugged me tighter. I tried once more only to end in him pushing my face into his chest even more. By now my face was crimson red. I tried to look for a shadow to teleport through but the closest one was to far for me to reach. I gathered myself up and painted on my usual annoyed and emotionless face.

"Hey, pineapple head! Wake up!" I say

"ugh" he groans wrapping his feet with mine.

"Grr, WAKE UP STUIPD!!!"

"Ughhh troubleso-" he starts but pauses when he notices how close we are.

"Good morning Sleeping Beauty glad you finally decided to wake from your precious slumber to bless me with my release from your hold" I say with sarcasm.

"What do you mean?" His face turns bright red as he looks down at our bodies which were twisted and intertwined together by his legs and arms.

"I-I didn't mean f-for this to ha-happen I-"

"Cann it Stupid, and let me go, you know I hate physical touch" I say with a tint of anger in my voice

"What a drag! Stop calling me that!" He complains.

"What a drag my ass! Let me go you pain in the butt!" I say back.

"Ahm" someone says from the door we turn our heads to face the person standing by the doorway.

"I didn't mean to interrupt you two love birds but it's 4 in the morning, and I don't know about you but I'd like to sleep a little more." Shikaku says.

"Who you calling love birds?!? And for your information I wake up everyday at 3-4am this isn't early at all I'm actually late! and also thank you for letting me stay here but I'd like to be in the training grounds right now." I say getting up only to get tugged back by Shikamaru, I end up falling back and getting my face squashed in his chest yet again.
