***Isuma was studying when Atsumu and Osamu finally returned. Atsumu walked right into her room and asked, "Why did you leave? That thing you did was so cool!"
"There IS no thing, Atsumu!" She purposefully used his full name. "I wish I hadn't gone."
"Why? Suma, why do you dislike being around volleyball so much?" He demanded. She glared at him. "Get out of my room. I don't have to explain myself to you."
<<That Night>>
Osamu couldn't sleep that night. Neither could his brother. Osamu slept on the bottom bunk and Atsumu on the top. Normally, they would've known the other was awake, but that night they were both thinking about the same thing... namely, Isuma.
She had been incredibly unlike her usual reserved self today. She'd lost her cool and even snapped at their captain- someone no one dared to cross. It was so strange. And then of course, there was her being able to see Atsumu's small mistake, something many others would never have been able to see. Why DID she hate volleyball so much?
Volleyball.
At the same time, both of them exclaimed, "Volleyball!"
They were both startled to hear the other awake. Atsumu looked over the edge of his bed at Osamu, who was looking back at him. "You're awake?"
"Yeah... what were you saying about volleyball?" Atsumu asked. Osamu rubbed the back of his head, sitting up. "I was just thinking about Suma."
"And how different she was today?" Atsumu uneasily asked. Osamu murmured, "It's because YOU forced her into going with us today."
"I didn't force her!" Atsumu sat up, agitated. "What's her deal, anyways? Why does she hate volleyball so much? Hell, if she really hated it, then why does she spend so much time around US?"
"I don't think she hates it. And you're being harsh. This isn't anything new." Osamu said.
"Sue me for finally noticing and doing something about it." Atsumu grumbled. "Whatever. If she wants to stay away then she can stay away."
"Didn't I just say she doesn't hate volleyball?" Osamu replied. "I think its the opposite. I think she actually really likes volleyball."
"She could join the girls team if she really wanted to- which she clearly does not." Atsumu said. Osamu answered, "Didn't you say Kita Senpai asked you to bring her to practice today?"
"Yeah, he did. Why?" Atsumu questioned. Osamu responded, "Why did he do that? And why did she snap at him earlier today?"
"Because she didn't want to be there." Atsumu guessed. Osamu said, "Yeah. Meaning she knows why he wanted her to be there."
"What's your point?"
"My point is that we need to talk to Kita Senpai tomorrow."
"Fine. YOU talk to him."
"Fine! I will!!"
