I walk upstairs smiling and head straight to the bathroom, I have a shift today, which is rare but still it's only a short shift because I'm waitressing the lunch dining. I shower quickly washing my hair and my body, I get out wrapping a towel around my body and also wrapping one around my hair. Walking to the bathroom counter I do my morning routine of teeth brushing, hair brushing, moisturising and doing my makeup. When I am finished I walk back into my bedroom throwing my towels in the laundry basket on the way out. My phone was buzzing on my bedside table and I realised my alarm was going off. It was currently 10:30am, work starts in 30 minutes so I walk to my dresser pulling out my uniform. I work at a vegan restaurant for the rich called 'Carat' so my uniform isn't like normal uniforms. It's a long black halter dress which has a slit exposing most of your right leg and has a gold band around the waist. I place my matte black pumps on my feet and make my way to the bathroom to finish off my hair. I add in some styling products and just work with my natural waves today, I really can't be bothered as my exhaustion is starting to hit. Making my way down stairs I head to work.

I return home at 5pm, I walk straight to my room changing out of my uniform into a plain white tee. Walking downstairs to the lounge with my phone in hand I start to call Grace, it dials through the first time so I call again and she answers with "Sorry! I didn't get to my phone in time". I laugh "Oh my god, I have so much to tell you"

"Continue, continue!" She prompts.

"Okay, so I met Harrison in basically no clothes"
"What? Why would you answer the door like that?"

"I thought it was you! You said he's message before he came and I slept through his message so I didn't know" I smirk and continue to say "I left him with basically little to imagine. I was wearing my white bed shirt, you know the cheap one that's basically see through"

Grace laughs and jokes "Sexy! Do you think you'll let him move in?"

"I don't know yet, just hang on one tick" I put Grace on speaker and open my Facebook app. "I'm just checking Facebook now to see if anyone has show any interest today" I scroll through the comments on the status and then quickly open messenger to see I don't have any inboxes from anyone interested in the apartment. "I guess Harrison is the guy then, I don't see anyone interest on Facebook so..."

"Why do you sound so down? He's cute"

"He's not cute, he's hot. And I was hoping he'd at least have some competition"

"Oh, so Miss Elizabeth Cole has the hots for him" Grace has a habit of teasing me when it comes to boys. "No, oh my god Grace, I think he's hot that's all and he's funny."

"I bet $50 that you guys will be in a relationship in two months time."

I smirk "Have fun losing $50 then honey"

"Well see Eliza, well see. Anyway I'm gonna have to leave you to it, I have to start cooking dinner for the family."

"Bye Gracie" I say and the line beeps.

I stretch out on the couch and I decide to message Harrison. I click on the unknown number in my messages and read the message he sent earlier on. It read 'Hey, I'm Harrison the guy your friend met at the store, I'm on my way over, should be there in 30 minutes. See you soon :)'

I add his contact to my phone, naming it Harrison with the little giggling monkey emoji next to it. Thinking in my head about what to message him I decide to just play it cool so I don't look like a desperate loner and message 'Tomorrow, I'm in if you're in. Whenever you're ready.' I press send while walking to the kitchen with my phone in my hand, I place it on the island in the middle of the kitchen and decide I could probably make a small batch of pumpkin soup for dinner. I place half of a small pumpkin on the counter along with some cream which is almost out of date, I pull off the lid smelling it before deciding that it's okay. I grab some spices from the pantry and begin preparing the pumpkin. My phone vibrates, grabbing my phone in my left hand and continue to pull more things out of the pantry.

'Knew you couldn't resist my charm, ;)' I'm in.'

Laughing I reply with 'Yes, your charm Harrison that's what got me, not the fact I don't have any other people interested. Pfft no, definitely your charm and your good looks.'
My phone buzzed almost instantaneously when I set it back on the counter I bend to look at it closely. 'I didn't even say anything about my good looks but I'm glad you agree. What time is good for you tomorrow?'

I decide to call him it rings a few times before he picks up. "Hello Elizabeth"

Smiling "Harrison, I'm not working tomorrow so you can just come whenever you want and if I don't answer the door the spare key is on top of the door frame"

"Well, guess my first job is to find a better spot to hide that." He chuckles "That's such an obvious spot"

"Hey! No one has broken in so far"

"Well, you better touch wood, just remember you're alone to night" He laughs.

"Gee, thanks for that."

"No problem!" He laughs to himself, "Are you going to have the same outfit on tomorrow morning?"

I blush, that's so embarrassing. "Shut up, oh my god."

"Hey, I'm not complaining, you can dress like that whenever you want. I don't want you to feel uncomfortable in your own, our apartment and I promise, I'll keep my hands off, and I'll try to keep my eyes away too"

"Very funny, don't expect to see that much of me again."

"Promise. See you tomorrow" He pauses "Elizabeth."

"Bye, Harrison" I hang up the phone and place it back onto the island and continue cooking my dinner.

I was pouring my pumpkin soup into a bowl when I hear my phone ding, I look over to see that I have an inbox from my old High School friend, Hannah. Unlocking my phone I read the message 'Hey, saw your post about the apartment. Was wondering if the offer is still available. I'm interested.' Signing I reply with 'Hi, long time no talk. Sorry I just confirmed the spot to someone else around 30 minutes ago. Wish you would have messaged sooner! :(' Honestly, I'm glad Harrison got the spot because he intrigues me and I think we'd get along great. Hannah and I always had an iffy friendship anyway, one moment we're friends, the next we're not. Sure, we've all grown since then but I don't think I'd be able to deal living with her. My phone dings again 'Oh, dammit! Thanks anyway...' Gee, talk about only talking to someone because you want something. 'How have things been?' or something like that would've been nice. I didn't bother to reply to Hannah, instead I took my soup and ate it in front of the tv.

I was about to climb into bed when my phone vibrated 'Tomorrow! Please get up, kinda early. I'll need help' Laughing at Harrison's message I reply 'Maybe...' I set my alarm for 8:30 and drift off to sleep.
