The World as I See It

We're dropped in a world

where we don't want to be

a place filled with sorrow

and too much misery

A world where our fears

try to ruin our lives

and all of the wrists

being cut through with knives

we cry out in pain

but there's no one to hear

we hide from the world

so it can't see our fear

but it laughs in our face

as insecurities grow
