Silence

Silence Part 4

Juno blinked her eyes and looked around her immediate area. She didnt see Iowatae or Owazaka any where. She quickly realized where she was. She was in the eating area of where the soldiers go to eat. She spotted a man, with a sort of pale guant, but handsome face. She walked over to him with a tray of soup, bread and a little tiny rice ball. She looked at the lifeless dull look in his eyes and tried to smile.  She saw a ghost smile grace his lips as he took the tray and wolfed down his food. Juno was then fast forwarded to the part when he took her to a private garden a gently kissed her. Juno watched all of the like it was a movie. The part where she first met Kurosake, where he kissed her, that joyus moment when they were married. The dream stopped at the part where she had Maika, then it turned sour. Kurosake started to have vivid and almost mind tearing nightmares. Juno tried to comfort him, but he would always push her away, mumbling that he didnt want to hurt her. Maika, no matter what, would always wail and sob throughout the night, Juno and Kurosake didnt get any sleep until one night, it was eeriy quiet. Juno was so exausted that she went to sleep without realizing that her husband wasnt next to her. The birds were chirping when Juno finally woke up and reached for her husband. She suddenly sat up and ran into Maika's room. When Maika wasnt there, Juno started to cry and panic. Eventually she went outside, calling for Maika and Kurosake. Juno dropped to her knees and started to cry as a hand touched her shoulder and gently shook her. It was Kurosake, holding a peaceful, sleeping Maika. "It turns out that she sleeps better next to Daichi, Owazaka's recently taken in son." Juno reached out for Maika and Kurosake handed her over, letting Juno cry quiet tears while hugging Maika close to her chest. "Sorry for taking her without you knowing, but you looked so exausted and tired that i let you sleep while i took her to where the counsel members where."  "Kurosake you scared me half to death i thought Maika was dead." Juno was then transported to when she woke up to Kurosake was up and about, putting on armor. Juno sighed and sat up. "Can't you stay for a bit longer, Maika needs to grow up with her dad." Kurosake sighed and kissed Juno deeply, lingering before pulling away from her soft warm lips. "I wish i could, but i cant and you know why." 

Juno felt something cold wash over her as she woke up. She tried to look around but her entire body was heavily restrained so she couldnt turn her head. "Oh look she's awake, send in the questioners." Juno let out a light huff of air and smelled something bitter sweet. "....Lilacs?" Owazaka somehow raised up her face to his. "Yes my dear, the smell of Lilacs, that is your favorite flower or is it not?" Juno spat in his face and he slapped her hard before standing up straight. "She is a fighter, Iwotae was right, we will diminish that fighter spirit soon enough." A group of official looking guards in armor came in and parted for person that was carrying a sort of cloth sack full of 'instruments'  for questioning. The restraints around her head were untied but the rest of her body was still heavily restrained. "So this is the fiesty one huh?" Juno quickly recognized the voice but didn't want to turn her head. "Face me, dear." Juno turned her head and looked at her 'dead' husband straight in the face.
