I woke up and Dorian wasn't there. "Dorian!" I yelled. "Dorian!" No one responded. "DOOORRIIAANNN!!!" I screamed. "WHAT!!!" He yelled coming out of the little kitchen thing. "Just checkin'." I say smirking. "Ugh... Really Haylee?" He says joking around with me. "Yes really." I hopped out of bed and ran to my bags and pulled out black jeans and a bark blue long sleeved shirt and slipped it on. I looked over into the mirror and brushed out my hair and ran my straightner through it. I threw a little bit of make up on and ran to see what Dorian was cooking. "What cha cookin'." I say. "Eggs, hashbrowns and saussage." He says. He knows its my favorite but dad barley ever let me eat anything. Usually I had lunch at school and had a snack once dad went to bed. "Yay!"
10 minutes later we were sitting down eating. I was done with in 5 minutes. I picked up my phone to see a text from Arik. "where are you? I drove by your house and your not there. I need to see you!" I looked over at Dorian because I read the text out loud. "Tell him were here." He said finishing his food. "kay." "Im at a hotel called woodland i think. come see me here. Tell me when your here and Ill meet you in the lobby." I text back. He just sent back on my way. a half hour later the text came through telling me he was here. "Dorian stay. I shall return." I say in a british accsent. "Mkay princess Haylee." His accsent matching mine. "Good-bye." I say running down the hallway and slamming the elevator button. I was down to the lobby in no time. "Hey!" I say running towords him "Hey!" He says hugging me. He was sick for 2 weeks and couldn't come to school and couldn't come see me. "We looked around and I snuck him up to our room. "Hello, sir Dorian I am back." I say. "Okay come in." He cleaned up the room thank god. I sat on the couch and snuggled up next to Arik. I kissed him and he smiled. I can tell he missed kissing his girl friend so I gave in and kissed him again. Life away from the monster is turning out better than I thought.
