Chapter 34

Lupin sat in his office as he let his thoughts unwravel, He was happy she had people to get along with, especially with how the year started. He wanted to always make sure she knew there are people for her because he knows just the smallest thing can make a person flip and with who her mother is there is no doubt she's a powerful witch and the other side would have found her by now if Tonks, his wife hadn't suggested they put a spell so her location would be hidden at all times.

Tonks and him are the only people that knew where she came from and they have been looking over her ever since they had found her in an empty house crying, none knew whose the kid was and she didn't have a name either. Lupin is the one that named her.

They had only found out who was her mother when they used an identification spell. They took her to the orphanage and made sure she would never be found. Of Course that spell doesn't work on ghosts so Peeves found her easily. But the owls that were to give her the letter for Hogwarts were also unable to find her. But she still got to Hogwarts and has been working hard ever since.

Tonks had also always gone to go check how she was doing but never came in contact with her because she was too young to understand everything. But now that she is here at Hogwarts they were ready to ask. They wanted to have Nyla as their daughter and adopt her, they also wanted to tell her about how she was found and everything she wanted to know.

The married couple were supposed to just drop her off and never come back but the two had already named the child, which is the name she goes by now. They felt as if they were her guardian angels.

They are the ones that had helped Nyla use her powers for the first time. Nyla didn't know it was them but a day after her 11th birthday Nyla was out walking and saw a big stone that was on a cat's tail. The cat was wailing in pain, of course the cat was just Tonk using her metamorphmagus powers.

But nonetheless she was stuck and Nyla could see that the rock was big to handle she couldn't call for help because she never spoke so without knowing it she used her powers to blow the boulder away and after that Nyla slowly started to lift small things, make things move and anything else she could think of.

Lupin had also gone and checked on her multiple times during school, for example the day Snape made her notebook disappear Lupin went to go have a talk with him which left Snape feeling slightly guilty. Which is very surprising because Professor Snape is not the kind of person to feel remorse for a student.

Remus tired his best to make sure she enjoyed herself and made sure students treated her with respect. And if she had wanted the two planned to adopt her as officially making her their own daughter. But didnt know when to ask or how to, so they hadn't brought it up for a while. Even if they don't get a chance to give her a home they will do their best from where they stand.

George finally placed Nyla ontot her bed and put her book away. She had already changed out of her uniform before they started reading so she was already comfy. He pulled the blanket up to her chin and said goodbye to Hermione and Ginny. He walked to his room and plopped onto his bed with a stupid grin plasterd over his face.

"So what'd you guys do? '' Fred asked, putting down whatever he was doing. George shrugged his shoulders and said."We just read a book together and she fell asleep so I put her to bed".

"Lucky, I made Winona so mad that she actually started talking to other people just to ignore me, She hates people!" Fred said whining about a girl he had recently become fond of.

"But who doesn't like a little fierceness?" George said laughing.

"A little?, this girl is psycho..... But I wouldn't want her another way" Fred exaggerated.

"You guys are lucky, I'm lonely," Lee joined the conversation, dragging out the word 'lonely'.

"It's okay Lee you'll find someone that doesnt find you a pain in the ass" Fred said grinning.

"I used to be a good kid before I met you two" Lee said pointing an accusing finger at Fred and George.

"Hey, for the record I was a good kid too before I started getting along with this doofus" George said gesturing to Fred.

"Not fair, you guys are ganging up on me" He dramatically put the back of his hand on his forehead and fell back onto his bed as he said "no one loves me". Letting out a loud sigh, Lee stood up flipping his "hair" and said in a high pitch voice "Im Winona and im in love with Fred. '' Fred shook his head at his impersonation.

"That is not how she sounds it more like this" he cleared his throat than spoke in a monotone voice "I hate you, and this , your alright you gave me food, not you you stare at me too long-" .

"Are you making fun of me?" the same monotone voice Fred was mimicking came from the doorway. There stood Winona with sweats and a tight shirt that had a ballerina smoking on it.

"What?, no we weren't" Fred stamerd trying to play it off but Lee had to put himself into it and said "yea we are". Fred pushed him and got up to go talk to Winona and see why she was here. Lee got up and put his face against the door.

"Fred and Winona sitting in a tree-!" George stopped him.

"No, it would be standing in a hallway" They both shoved their faces against the door making their voices muffled as they sang. "Fred and Winona standing in a hallway K-I-S-S-I-N-G!". The two laughed when they heard Fred groan and high fived each other thinking 'mission accomplished'. The two went to bed and George fell asleep in minutes as did Lee.
