Mina excitedly shook you from side to side unable to contain her feelings of excitement. she was really excited to work with you, you on the other hand would have been beyond ecstatic if the situation was under different circumstances.
somehow you were able to drown out Mina's constant chatter, well for the most part you did. the groups before you went in and out effortless and happy, Iida and his group was the fastest by far to rescue All might safely—due to Hagakure's invisibleness. the next group which was Denki's ended with the villains winning and Denki over using his quirk and frying himself.
which was quite amusing to watch.
Kirishima, Jirōu, Uraraka and Sero were currently on the way back, leaving your group the last and final one. all of the groups so far that you had seen were beyond amazing, they were all advanced and worked beautifully together. running your clammy hands through your h/c locks you sighed. you weren't ready to be the loser who didn't know who to use their own quirk at age 18.
"y/n are you even listing to meeee" Mina pouted "you're not are you" she sighed taking her arm off your shoulder and slumping down on the wall next to her.
"i'm just nervous i'm sorry" you apologized plopping down next to her and crossing your legs. it wasn't that you were nervous to fail for yourself, you were nervous to let down Mina, to let down Midoriya and All might. you couldn't bare to see the look on All lights face when you let him down—again. it would be just like back in Olympus again, letting down your mother, the three brothers and your only friend. not to mention the thousands of mortals dead because of you.

"honey look i don't know what kind of issues you have going on" Mina joked with a smile. "but i promise you, whatever the outcome is i'll be proud" she grinned. unable to hold the smile that made it way upon your features you gave Mina a small smile.
"thank you Mina" oddly enough, her kind words did make you a bit less nervous.
"KIRISHIMA BROOOO THAT WAS SO MANLY" Denki shouted pointing finger guns at Kirishima who had just came through the cctv room entrance. behind him entered Jirōu, Uraraka and Sero, who surprisingly wasn't high off his balls.
