"Hey Mooonnyyy"
"Hi, Lilah?"
"How's your day going?"
"Uh... pretty good can't complain."
Delilah blinked at him expectantly.
"And... how is your day going Delilah?"
"I'm so glad you asked! Amazing I have study plans with the fittest boy in school."
"Sirius?"
"Ew! No,no,no! I'll give you a hint, he's in Slytherin."
"Uhh I don't know?"
"Laurence Lestrange!"
"Whoah, really?"
Delilah tumbled into an explanation of her run in with Laurie that took way longer than it needed to because she kept describing unimportant details. Like the way Laurie moved his luscious hair or touched her arm.
Remus's heart sank a little, but not for himself.
He wasn't the Marauder that was harboring feelings for her.
"That's great! Just don't tell Sirius okay?"
"Why?"
Delilah asked tilting her head to the side.
"He's not exactly a fan of Lestrange and his friends."
Delilah shrugged and didn't think anything more about it as she made her way to charms.
She had however taken a little to long daydreaming on her way to class and by the time she stumbled into class all the seats were taken except for one. Right smack dab between her brother and Sirius.
She wasn't to mad seeing as how she hadn't really seen James all day and she had Sirius wrapped around her finger.
She crept up behind her brother and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"How're you doing on this fine day Brother?"
"Fine?"
James asked confused.
He put a hand on her forehead.
"What're you doing?"
"Checking your temperature."
"Why?"
"Because you're never this nice to me?"
"That's not true, and besides I haven't seen you all day and I missed you. Where've you been by the way?"
"Doing...stuff."
"What stuff?"
"Don't be nosy."
"Don't be a dickhead."
Delilah turned towards Sirius now.
"Sirius?"
"Yes,love?"
So his cocky attitude had returned.
"Where've you and my brother been?"
"Snogging under the bleachers."
He said not missing a beat. But Delilah's adrenaline from being asked out by Laurie hadn't faded yet.
"Well... it's a pity you picked the wrong Potter then."
She said with a shrug.
Sirius's cheeks turned bright red and he looked away quickly. Class began and she decided she was having to much fun to stop just yet.
She leaned in closet to Sirius and placed her hand on his knee. Sirius's pupils grew twice their size as he continued to stare at the board in front of him.
"Are you really not going to tell me?"
She whispered breathily in his ear.
His breath hitched in his throat and he dug his nails into the desk.
"Hmmm than I'll have to coax it out of you Black."
Sirius choked on air and began coughing to cover up his discomfort.
This time Delilah couldn't help it, she laughed.
She covered her mouth with her hand to cover the giggles escaping her lips. And thats when it hit Sirius. She was toying with him.
"Ms. Potter is their something funny?"
"No Professor, I was just thinking of a joke I heard earlier."
Professor Flitwick turned back to the lesson, rolling his eyes at the two oblivious teenagers.
Delilah stopped before she got carried away.
By the time class ended Delilah had forgotten about her mission to tease Sirius and was instead thinking of what to wear to her study date with Laurie. Or not a date? Study session? Rounding the corner on the way to astronomy someone grabbed Delilah's arm pulling her into an empty classroom.
She was already reaching for her wand ready to hex the unlucky guy who dared snatch her.
Then Sirius's mischievous smirk appeared.
"Sirius what the hell?!"
"What this isn't what you wanted?"
"To be kidnapped by a psycho? No it isn't what I wanted!"
"So you didn't want to get me alone?"
"N-no why would you..."
"Because the little glances, the breathy whispers, the subtle touching! Admit Lilah, you've been messing with me!"
"Yeah, so? You've been messing with me since third year!"
"Yeah because that's my thing! I'm flirty and your easily flustered. It's funny."
"What's wrong Black? You can dish it but you can't take it?" Delilah's devilish smirk rivaled Sirius's in that moment.
"Yeah well you can't just flirt with a guy you don't actually fancy! It's not fair."
"Oh! But you can flirt with a girl you don't fancy?! That's real classy Black! Not at all a double standard!"
"But I-
Sirius stuttered before Delilah cut him off.
"You know what Black? You think you're so clever and charming, but really your just a stupid schoolboy and by the end of the year I'm going to have you begging for me to sleep with you." Delilah folded her arms and stared up at Sirius defiantly.
"Oh is that so Potter? Because I think by the end of the year I'm going to have you begging for me."
"Fine, so it's a deal? Whoever is begging the other to sleep with the other by the end of the year has to..."
"Streak across the quidditch pitch!"
"You're on!"
Sirius stuck his hand out for the stubborn girl to shake.
And just like that the game was in motion. But so much more was in store for the two oblivious teenagers.Hey guys! I know this is like the first time I'm addressing you but I just wanted to say I'm sorry if this chapter is crap but I really didn't know how to introduce the storyline. I'm sorry if the grammar is trash! Please no hate, but I do take constructive criticism. Thank you all for reading! I hope you enjoy it!
