Chapter 28

Corn flake.

Natsuki's POV

I yawned and opened my eyes. Yuri's missing. I rubbed my eyes and sat up. Wait. Yuri's missing! I dashed out of our room. She isn't in the living room, or anywhere downstairs. I check inside the kitchen. I tried to contain both giggles and awwing. Yuri is trying to make breakfast. She isn't doing to well but she's trying. To be honest even though she's struggling it actually looks pretty good. I see pancakes and it looks like she's currently making eggs. I head back into are room. If she's okay then it wouldn't hurt to fall back asleep for a bit.

I opened my eyes again. Yuri was lightly shaking me. I stretched. "Good morning Yuri." I yawned again. Yuri smiled. "Good morning, could you please sit up?" I sat up as requested. Yuri put a tray with food on it infront of me and turned on the light. I smiled brightly, she made pancakes and put eggs florentine hearts on top of them. Yuri smiled.

Time skip because I don't feel like describing her eating.

Yuri grabbed the tray when I finished my final bite of food. I got out of bed once more and gave her a kiss before she left the room. I followed her to the sink. "Was it good?" She asked as she cleaned the dishes. I hugged her. "Mhm." Yuri giggled. "I saw you peeking through the kitchen door earlier." She saw me?! "Why didn't you say anything!" Yuri giggled some more. "You looked like a zombie Natsuki, you clearly wanted more sleep, so I let you go back into our room and sleep." She turned and smiled at me. "You should probably get dressed. My sweater barely covers up everything." I grumbled. "But its comfy." Yuri tried to contain a laugh. "You can keep it on as long as you put on at least pants." I grumbled again and walked off to go get dressed.

Yuri's POV

I smiled to myself and put away the last dish. I went over to the couch and sat down. I never noticed how comfy this couch is, I never noticed a lot of great things about this ship. Why am I so happy today? I even got up and made breakfast, which isn't something any monster would normally do. I mean, it was for Natsuki so I guess that explains it but, man I just feel really good today. Oh fuck. I know what this is. Let me fill you in on what's happening here.

So it's basically like a period except for monster women, we don't bleed out or anything but something totally different. It's called 'Rapture' Rapture has a few stages. Stage one, pure happiness, this stage is basically just being really happy and kind towards everyone and everything. Stage two, violence, literally everything and anything will tip a monster over the edge in this stage best to keep away. Stage three, the final stage, lust, I personally hate this stage, I probably wont hate it as much since I have Natsuki now, but this stage is just monsters being horny idiots. There's like three or four minutes of intermission between stages. It happens once per year, and it takes an entire day to completely cycle through every stage. 

I sighed to myself, i'm still happy, just less happy now that I know what's happening. Natsuki came back out and sat down beside me. "Hey uh Natsuki," I started. Natsuki looked at me. "I might need to lock myself in our room later today." Natsuki looked confused. "Why is that?" I scratched the back my neck. "Well uh, its hard to explain, but uh, basically, i'm just going to get really angry for no reason what so ever and I want to be locked away so I don't hurt anyone." Natsuki still looked confused. "Okay." At least she's okay with it. I started to get slightly irritated. Fuck, already?! Goddammit! I sat up and rushed to our room. "Mkay i'm going to go do that now love bye." I said quickly as I sped to the door. 

I opened it and locked myself inside. I sighed with relieve and sat down in bed. Those happy thoughts soon turned into the things that made me angry the most. I got up and started pacing around the room. The damn council, how Monika is always so calm, HOW THE FUCK DOES ANYONE STAY THAT CALM?! I growled. I hate how ignorant Sayori is, SHE'S JUST A LIVING ROADBLOCK! The void council thinks they can contain me, nobody can, i'm a monster. Stronger than all of them, everyone! I'm stronger than Monika, than Sayori, I could end them on the spot if I really fucking wanted too. I growled. The only thing keeping me from tearing this universe to shreds is Natsuki. She's so kind to me, so accepting. This is where I was thrown into the rabbit hole last time. Last time, when I killed them all. Just keep calm, that won't happen this time. Just keep thinking about her. I laid back down on the bed. Just, stay calm.

Its been a few hours. I've kept my cool, I only need to do it for a few more minutes at most. "Hey Yuri?" Natsuki called out from the other side of the door. "Yeah?" I responded. "Are you done in there yet?" I felt myself regulating as she spoke, which means the final stage is soon to come. "I'm not done quiet yet but you can come in, just shut the door behind you." Natsuki opened the door and shut it behind her. "Monika told me about what's going on with you." I looked at her. "So then you know I just finished with the second stage and about to move on to the third one?" Natsuki nodded. "Monika told me about the first two stages, all she said about the third one is that it isn't dangerous and that I'd most likely love it." I giggled. "Well, she wouldn't be wrong." Natsuki looked confused. She walked over to me. "What's that supposed to mean."

"Well ,cupcake, your about to find out~"
