20. A call

Leo !! Slow down...."

"No P'Mew.....you don't trust me...." said Leo and bumped the car into a tree.

Mew jerked forward and found Leo's hand on his chest.Leo protected Mew from the accident.Mew looked to his side to found Leo covered in blood.

"LEO!!!!!" Shouted Mew and shook the unconscious Leo.

"Leo!!! Wake up...please wake up..." said Mew and when he was unable to get any response.He took a piece of cloth from his bag and wrapped Leo's wound to stop bleeding and took out his phone and called Gulf.

"Gulf!!! Me and Leo met with an accident." Said Mew.

"What???"replied Gulf.Gulf almost stumbled.It hasn't been a week since he found that Mew was alive and hearing that he met with an accident has brought back his fear of losing Mew again.He couldn't afford to loose him again.

"Are you alright baby?...Are you hurt?...tell me where are you?"said gulf.

"I am okay....But leo.....baby, leo...Leo is not waking up." Said Mew. Fear was clearly visible in Mew's voice.

"Mew!! Relax....take a deep breath and send me your location?" Asked Gulf.

Mew didn't know how but Gulf's voice calmed him down a little bit.He took a deep breath and send him the location.
"Baby !! I got it....you are very near to Win's hospital....I am sending someone to pick you up guys and take Leo to Win's hospital and I'll meet you there..okay?"

"Baby....can't you come?....I am little scared?" Asked Mew.

"Mew....I want to but I am not at the CIB office...it will take me more than an hour to reach you....Just trust me....and don't be scared, just do as I say, okay?" Said Gulf.

"Okay.......I love you..." said the scared Mew.

"...I love you too..." replied Gulf and hang up.He quickly called Max and send him Mew's location.

AT THE HOSPITAL
Both Bright and Gulf went to the hospital where Win works and Leo was admitted.They enquired at the reception about  Leo's room.Both entered the room and before even Gulf could think anything, Mew ran to hug him.

"I was so scared....." said Mew.

"It's okay....I am here now, don't worry...okay?" Said Gulf.
Both let go each other.Gulf's eyes wandered around to see Win beside the patient bed and Leo sitting in a upright position expressionless on th bed.Leo's head was bandaged.It was clear that he got some scratches on his arms and knees.

"Leo, Are you okay?" Asked Gulf.

Leo looked at Gulf with teary eyes.
"I am sorry, phi." Said Leo.

Gulf rush to him and sat beside him.

"It's okay, leo."

"Not for this but for everything...I want to clear every doubt of yours."

"We can talk about this later." Said Bright.

"No phi, I want to clear everything." Said Leo looking at Mew.
Gulf was little perplexed by Leo's sudden action.His eyes wandered between Mew and Leo.

"That car has a numberplate......It's in it's trunk.....while I was returning to meet you guys, I met with an accident and the numberplate broke...and it was getting late so I just returned back without repairing it."

"Why didn't you tell us that directly?"asked Gulf.

Leo started to fidget his fingers with his head down.
"Because I was angry at you,Phi....that day when you blamed me for the murders....I thought that you don't trust me because I am Ryuk's brother." Said Leo and clasped his hands with Gulf's.
