7. It's a Girl

Gulf was in the kitchen preparing breakfast for Mew where Mew was still asleep.Gulf has to go to office to listen to the recordings of the voice recorder, he installed at Yuri's club.He wanted to collect all the possible evidences against  Yuri and issue a warrant against him to clear Mew's name.He has to do all those things as soon as possible as he can't take the risk  of Ryuk meddling in their buisness again.He was able to stop him at the first time but he knew Ryuk won't stay quite for a long time.
He put the breakfast at the dining table and went to the bedroom to wake up Mew.As he entered, he saw Mew was sleeping like a baby.Mew looked different, he looked relaxed.The Mew ,Gulf know has lot of bad memories, lots of things to be tensed about but this Mew lying in front of him seems to have nothing to worry.Gulf liked this Mew and wanted to do everything to make Mew's worries go.He initially came to wake up Mew but now after seeing him in such a deep slumber, that idea doesn't seem like a good idea.Mew look so peaceful and beautiful to Gulf that he didn't want this Mew to disappear from his eyes.The uncontrollable urge of cherishing and protecting him suddenly taking over Gulf and he didn't even know when he started to lean to give him a peck on the forehead.
He leaned back to write a small note for Mew and turned to leave but stopped by Mew.

"Where do you think you are going?" Said Mew in sleepy voice.Gulf turned around to see the most adorable site, Mew in his messy bed hair.Gulf couldn't help but to smile and sat beside Mew.

"I have to go to issue warrant against Yuri .I'll be back soon.You rest till then." Said Gulf making Mew's eyes widened.
Gulf thought Mew would be happy after hearing that but seeing that sullen expression, Gulf was jealous.

"What happened? Do you still like him?....maybe I got it.....you were playing with me right?" Said Gulf in angry tone to which Mew quickly shake his head.

"No Gulf!!!...I can't even think of that....please don't get angry." Said Mew but opposite of Mew's words Gulf got more angry.

"So what with this expression of yours?"

"I meaning to tell you something for a long time.....yesterday I also came to talk about something but things turned in differently." Said Mew with his ears turning red making Gulf's anger disappear.

"What did you want to tell me?" Asked Gulf in a softer tone but before Mew could answer Gulf phone start ringing.It was Bright.

Gulf took the call.Mew was patiently waiting  for the call to end.

"What!!!!!......Wait let me see....I talk to you later" Said Gulf and jolted to switch on the television.

"Mr.Chakra who was contesting the upcoming election was murdered in his Bunglow" said the News reporter making Mew bewildered.

"What happens Gulf?...why are you so tensed.?" Asked Mew.

"It's nothing to worry, it's just that because of another high profile case,there will be more chaos at the office so issuing of warrant may take some more time then expected.I can't wait for tomorrow.I have to do something today."said Gulf.Mew was touched after seeing how much efforts Gulf is putting to clear his  name.

"Mew!! I think I have to go, Why don't you meet me at the break and tell me what you want to tell me? Said Gulf.

"But Gulf..." said Mew but interrupted by a pair of pink plump lips of Gulf on his lips.

"I meet you at the break.Eat the breakfast at the table....." said Gulf and exited the house leaving Mew numb with the sudden kiss.

AT CIB OFFICE
Gulf exited his car and entered the office to sigh.As he expected, the office was a total chaos.All his seniors and juniors were roaming around either taking calls or making calls.Gulf finallly felt a little elated when he saw Bright.
He ran to him.
