In Too Deep (Corpse X Sykkuno FanFic)

Entry 5

The person put on the next video as if it was routine at this point. The screen going from black to one filled with colour. As before, it flickered to Sykkuno's face as his hands were fixing the camera a bit to make sure it was on himself. It appeared that he was back in his room as the background was familiar to the video between him and his roommate Corpse. As the camera was focused on the male he let out a deep sigh and looked down as he wasn't sure if this as going to be a good idea to record. However he pursed his lips and looking back at the small device. There was a bit of silence, before he spoke up.

"Hi... Um... I wanted to make this just in case. I was talking to some of my friends the other day when we hit a bit of odd turbulence up here. It was odd because of how we weren't in any sort of area where turbulence would happen." Sykkuno sighed and scratched his cheek. "Not only that, but the reactor, Oxygen and O² have been going off a lot. Rae and Toast think something might be wrong with wiring, but if it keeps happening within this week we'll start having daily meetings about it."

The male as usual was awkward, but this time it was like he was nervous. Then he continued to explain himself. "Maybe I wanted to make this to make myself feel better, but Lily has been making jokes with the others that it might be an alien or something like in the movie "The Thing". I'm not a huge fan of scary stuff so, I guess I'm doing this for comfort." He gave a small give as he played with his fingers again before a sudden knock on his door made him jump.

"Hey Sykkuno- Oh sorry, you want me to come back later?" A high-pitched, sweet sounding female could be heard out of frame.

"Hey Lily. It's fine, I just got finished. What's up?" Sykkuno looked at what seemed to be the direction of the doorway with a look of curiosity.

"I'm just here to pass a message from Corpse to you. He says it's important." She told the male to verify her sudden, unannounced appearance.

"An important message? Okay, what did he say?" Sykkuno tilted his head as he waited to receive what message Corpse was having passed to him.

"He said he wanted to talk to you in private and to meet at your guys 'special place'. About what happened last night." She told the other as she hummed trying to find out the cryptic message as she did air quotations around 'special place'. "Do you know what he means by that?"

"Last night?" Sykkuno had to stop and think before turning bright red and quickly began to panic as he started to make excuses. "W-What?! N-Nothing! Nothing at all! Just some questions he asked me about home." He frantically waved his hands as to try and put off suspicion of anything weird, but was caught red handed by the males bright red face.

"Ooooo~" Lily giggled and seems intrigued by the other. "What happened between you and Corpse last night Sykkuno?~" She hummed and spoke in a teasing manner.

The whole situation was making him more and more red to were he couldn't hide it. "Come on Sykkuno, you can't fool this girl. Rae, Toast and I are the only people that know you inside and out. You never cuss, get wasted, smoke, done any drugs and even break some sort of small law. We all know your bark and no bite. Plus your red as a maraschino cherry. So, what happened?" She asked again before moving into frame, sitting next to Sykkuno with a big gossip like smile, wanting the info to spill from the others lips.

"Even if I did tell you you'd tell Rae and Toast. Then they'll start to gossip and then everyone will know." Sykkuno admitted as he covered his face with his hands. "Oh my god..." He sighed, face continuing to be red.

Lily looked at the camera then back at the male next to him. "This is a vlog right?" She suddenly asked.

Sykkuno nodded as he looked at Lily, kind of confused. "Yeah, why?"

"So the only people that are gonna see it is us and if something happens the FBI, right?" She leaned in.

"Y-Yeah. You're point?" He was getting more and more confused by the second as Lily help the suspense.

"Sooooo~ Just tell me. You're the only one that cares about the vlog things anyway Sykkuno. No one but yourself will see it. Mostly cuz I doubt the FBI will get involved with us."

The person behind the screen watching this whole ordeal go down couldn't help but let out a small chuckle of amusement, in an almost mocking way. "If only they knew."

Sykkuno bit his bottom lip as he thought about if he wanted to tell Lily or not about what happened. It was a few long seconds of silence before Sykkuno gave into the peer pressure of his friend. "Okay... I'll tell, but it can't leave this room."

Lily lifted his pinky as to sweat on her life that she wouldn't say a word to no one but herself in a comforting and slightly psychotic way. "I promise or I'll swallow a thousand needles."

Sykkuno's eyes widen knowing that Lily would actually do that. "O-Okay, just don't hurt yourself please." He eventually pinky promised her and sighed before looking at the camera with a bit embarrassment, then back to Lily.

"So... uhm... Basically, Corpse and I were talking and going on a mini adventure the other day before we realized we had some stuff to do in storage tasked by both Rae and Toast." The small male started before choosing his next words carefully, not to slip to much detail. "W-We uh had to rearrange some stuff and grab a few boxes for both Rae and Toast and while we were trying to get the files on the top shelf I- uh... Lost my footing."

Lily seemed confused, but pressed Sykkuno further for more answers. "There's more to the story isn't there Sykkuno." She meant to say it as a question, but it came out more as a demand.

The dark haired male nodded lightly as he continued, avoiding any sort of eye contact. "Y-Yeah... When I fell, Corpse tried to catch me, but we both ended up falling." He grabbed his scarf and looked at the ground, his face and ears becoming bright red. "H-He landed my fall... But..." It looked like Sykkuno's brain was short circuiting from whatever he was thinking.

"BUT WHAT SYKKUNO?! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME HANGING LIKE THIS! TELL ME DAMN IT!" Lily shook the shocked male infront of her as she yelled hoping it would spark his brain. The sudden shaking and yelling surprised Sykkuno into panic replying to make it stop.

"We accidentally kissed!" He announced.

Though she thought the shaking and yelling wouldn't work she was surprised to have Sykkuno reply the way he did. However, her brain then started to run on dial up internet, taking it's sweet time to process the word, the two of them in deafening silence before Sykkuno spoke up again.

"L-Lily?" He asked before she wired herself up again, the two cords finally connecting.

"YOU WHAT?!" She screamed and tried to jump Sykkuno, but before that could even happen the screen cuts to black like an old film just cutting off.

The person watching sits back again in their chair before looking over files and nodding to themselves, seeming to confirm something in their head. "So, this is when it started." They spoke to themselves out loud before pointing at Corpses and Sykkuno's file. "But who is it..." They started spewing random streams of sentences that didn't make complete sense, but could only make sense to someone in their similar field. They then look over Rae's file. "Her?" They hummed to themselves before taking a pen and biting the back of it in thought. "Maybe I'll keep a close eye on her and a couple others." They spoke once more before grabbing the next video. "I'll just have to keep watching." They then sighed finding it slightly annoying, but had to do it to find the answers they were looking for.

(A/N: Thank you all so much for your patience for this chapter, this took a bit of time to write do to the previous mentioned death in the family and trying to get back on my feet to get motivation again after such a thing happening. They were really close to me and it effected my everyday life. It makes me more than happy knowing you guys love the fanfic so far. I hope that you'll continue to support and read this fanfic and follow me on this rollercoaster of a story. A bit of a sidenote I have a general idea of where everything will go but finding the filler is difficult, so I hope you all understand in advance if I update at awkward intervals of time, I don't have a set date for updates for now.
