In Too Deep (Corpse X Sykkuno FanFic)

Entry 1

The screen turns on and shows a male with dark brown hair and cutely shaped almond eyes that glistened a nice deep brown colour. His suit was green, and had a striped scarf around his neck. The male gave a small wave at the camera with a small, cute smile.

"Hey, so this is my first entry since the space launch the other day. All of us have to make an entry to document our days- Oh! Right. I haven't introduced myself. I'm Sykkuno; I was one of the first astronauts accepted to join the crew." His voice was very calm and sweet as he spoke to the camera, seeming a bit shy while being confident at the same time. "It's very lovely up here. Seeing all the stars and planets passing the windows. The galaxy is just such a beautiful place."

The male sighed with a continued smile. He seemed to be in thought as he continued.

"I wish more of my friends and family can see just how beautiful it is up here. Oh! I forgot. I like to ramble a bit, but I can't help but say what's true. I started to become friends with many of the crew, and they're all such nice people. I was intimidated by one of the crewmembers but eventually got to know them a bit."

The male seemed to look down into his lap as he smiled a bit, twiddling his thumbs, a slight tint of pink colouring his cheeks. 

"His name is Corpse, and I didn't think we would connect as much as we did, but we did." He looked back up at the camera and continued to have a smile. "He's very nice, and I got to introduce him to my close friends, Toast and Rae." He nodded as he spoke.

"Sykkuno, are you busy?" A voice off-camera spoke; it sounded female.

The male looked in the direction where the voice might have been coming from. "Yeah. Sorry Rae, give me a few minutes. I'm just doing my entry for the day."

"Oh, okay. We're having a meeting before landing at Polus, so I just wanted to tell you." The voice replied to Sykkuno.

"Gotcha. Just tell them I'm making my entry and that I'll be down soon." He informed his crewmate.

"Okay, don't be too long." Her giggle echoed a bit as she seemed to leave.

Sykkuno waved off-camera before looking back at the lens. "That was my crewmate, Rae. She joined with eight others, and she was one of my first friends back in astronaut training along with Toast."

Sykkuno scrunched up his face in thought again as he tried to remember what he was going to say. "Oh, everything is pretty much fine though we ran into unexpected turbulence after we exited earth's atmosphere. There was slight damage to the spaceship, but nothing too major, and one hole on board about the size of a toothpick if it were stabbed into the metal, like a really tough cake.  Which we were lucky to find on our own within the span of a couple of hours, we luckily we have multiple through people on board as crewmates." Sykkuno gave the camera a light chuckle as he was actually finding the situation amusing.

"I'm thinking of doing vlogs along with my updates to keep memories and such, so I brought a camera aboard with like a dozen large memory cards, so I don't miss a second up here." The male rummaged around on the floor a bit before pulling up a camera. "I even want to make memories with my new friends and maybe have a long term relationship with them. That would be the best if that would happen." Sykkuno's voice and intentions were pure and soft as he didn't even recognize the negatives of being in space.

The young male looked around the room for a second before looking back at the lens with a cheeky smile and a loving grin. "I really am grateful they sent me up here. I won't let them down while I'm here. I refuse." He held up a fist in determination as he giggled to himself. "Many say that I'm naive and childlike, but I'm a few grown adult who is just out here living my best life. And I wanna show my crewmates that, but it's just in my nature to be calm and optimistic all the time. I think they'll know after being friends with me for a bit." A continued giggle escapes his lips as he shifted in his seat.

"Hmm. Oh. This is embarrassing, but I mentioned Corpse earlier, and I just want to keep talking about him. Maybe I really want to be friends with him or something. I don't know, but I just do. He's really mysterious. No one knows what he looks like except for Jack and Felix. He apparently doesn't look at what he sounds like. His voice is really, really deep, so it throws me into a loop." Sykkuno sighs and looks off-camera again, seeming to daydream. "I don't know what it is about him, but I wanna know more about him. Even if I don't get to see his face like the others, I feel like we'd click well if we became friends."

"And for some reason, Rae kept telling me she ships Corpse, and I and I don't know how to feel about it. What even is shipping? Am I out of the loop of something? Ugh. Now, this is annoying." The male stayed in silence for a bit before continuing to talk, not making eye contact with the camera. 

"I hope my family is okay. This is my first time ever being this far away from them. I don't want them to worry, but then again, they're my family. It's their job to do so." He shrugs before looking at the camera again; a slight sadness flickers in his eyes before shaking his head. "If my family sees this. Hey!" His gloomy appearance brightens quickly before being waves at the camera. "I'm okay, and I promise I'll be safe and to eat a lot." He laughs before putting his hand down. 

He looked over at the clock and back at the cam before announcing his leave. "Well, it's time for me to head out. The crew is waiting for me at the meeting, so I have to be there soon, or they'll send someone to get me again." He gave a small giggle and reached for the camera to end the recording, but before he does, he gives a peace sign with his hand and says, "Bye." before the screen goes black.
