juliet pov

when luke went home that night all i could think of is why did he look at me when he said he knew who he was asking to prom is and he looked at me, does that mean he is going to ask me ?

I was sat with phoebe at lunch when luke comes and sits next to me,

"hey juliet, hey phoebe?" he said

"yeah its phoebe, well im going to go, make sure your at the mall at half 4 today juliet" she said walking away from us

"sorry was i interpreting something" he asked me

"nope, she is making me go dress shopping" i said

"dress shopping, you hate that kind of thing" he said sounding confused

"it's for prom" i said picking up my bag and putting it on my shoulder

"well, i was wondering if you was busy on saturday" he asked following me to my locker so I could get things out of it

"nope im not busy are you"

"do you want to hang out wih me on saturday then?" he asked me

"what like a date?" i asked luke

"yeah, like a date"

"ok i would love to luke" i said

"dont dress up, wear what you always wear" he said, he pecked my cheeck and walked away

why did he kiss me ?

why a date?
