Gia had dropped me off at the Crashdown 30 minutes ago and I was sitting at one of the booths reading 'Hatchet'. Its a book by Gary Paulsen that I have to read for English. Well, we are supposed to read it in class together  but I needed a book to read and I had it on me. Rosa was sat in front of me, she had her sketchbook out and a smile on her face. It was a smile that if you saw it you would smile too. Papa Ortecho was teaching Liz how to make some cinnamon thing, couldnt for the life of me remember what it was called. It was  another 10 minutes before Liz and Arturo were done and a plate of food was placed in front of Rosa and I. I smiled and cut mine in half, motioning for Liz to sit next to me. She did happily and Arturo brought her a fork. She dug in and the smile on her face was so bright, if the sun and her smile had a competition on who shined brighter her smile would win.

When we were done eating, I grabbed my bag, walked up the steps, and into the room. I sat my stuff next to the closet and helped the girls move Liz's bed next to Rosa's. When we had finished Rosa was showing me her new guitar, her papi had bought it for her birthday. She played a few notes and passed it to Liz, Liz shook her head and passed it to me. I strummed it a bit before playing a simple song. Rosa knew I had been taking lessons so she wasn't surprised but Liz was. He eyes were wide and her mouth was open in shock. I passed the guitar back to Rosa who took it and set it back in its case.

"Lets play truth or dare!" Liz squealed excitedly. I nodded happily while Rosa said 'Okay'. "I have the end of the popsicle stick!" We all yelled quickly but Rosa beat Liz and I. Liz pouted and I smiled at her. "Lyss truth or dare?" She asked and I scrunched my nose. "Dare." I decided and her smile grew again. "I dare you to run down and ask my dad if you can stay for the rest of the weekend." She said and I nodded. I jumped up and sprinted down the steps, skipping several as I went. When I reached the bottom I almost ran into Arturo.
"Mr.OrtechocanIstayfortherestoftheweekendprettypleasewithstardustontop?" I asked. I asked it so fast I could barely understand what I said. "Querida, slower." He said softly and I took a deep breath. "Can I stay for the rest of the weekend? Pretty please with stardust on top." I begged and he smiled. "Make sure it is okay with your mother. You are always welcome here Alyssa, you never have to ask." He said with a soft smile and I smiled back. "Thank you Mr. Ortecho." I daid softly and launched myself at him. I wrapped my small arms around his legs and hugged him as tight as I could. "You're welcome sweetheart." He said rubbing my back. When I let go he kissed my cheek and I ran back upstairs.

I burst into the room with a huge smile on my face. "Guess who gets to spend her weekend with her best friends on the universe!" I yelled as my entrance and both girls tackled me in hugs. "This is perfect we can paint each other's nails, go walking, see Maria. This is going to be so much fun!" Liz screamed in my ear and we all laughed. This was the start of an amazing weekend. The best weekend of my life. Ww watched movies, helped Arturo, ran around town, painted each other's nails, went to Maria's and did each other's hair. It was perfect.

**A.N~ The song in the YouTube video has nothing to do with this chapter other than the fact I was listening to it while I was writing. So this is the second chapter and I am so happy to have it out! It was a really short one and its kinda just here for a little background into the relationship between the girls. The next chapter will be fast forwarding to the age of 12, if you were not aware in this chapter she is 7. I know I havent put much background into her relationship with Gia and I know I still haven't explained how Annabeth died but I'm getting there. I hope you guys are enjoying so far, have a wonderful week everyone :)! Peace out ✌ ☮!**
