TW: Aggression, Violence
"A silver lining, if you will"
The walk back to their room was torture. Vincent's grasp on Lana's arm only got harder as they got closer to the room. He was barely letting her walk, borderline dragging her around. Clearly, he was way past being angry. Lana felt like throwing up at the thought of what he'd do.
When they got to the room, he slammed the door then pushed her against the wall. He was holding her by her wrists above her, and his grip was anything but soft. The fear in Lana grew the more he looked at her with his insane eyes.
"Now I don't want to hurt you darling, but I have to ask why you thought it was okay to speak to that person?" he asked. The shakiness and aggressiveness of his voice were striking.
"Tommy?"
"DON'T say his name!" he yelled, somehow making his grip tighter.
"I-I just wanted to talk. I swear it wasn't anything special," Lana's voice was shattered.
"Do you promise me that darling?" He got even closer to her, his cold breath completely covering her face.
"Yes," she replied quickly.
"Okay then," he said before removing one of his hands from her wrist, leaving one hand to hold both. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a pocket knife. He slowly dwindled it across her neck and left it there.
"Why did you attack one of my workers?" His eyes were still piercing her heart, making her petrified.
"It was just in the heat of the moment. I mean they-they just dragged him away," Lana stuttered.
He glided the knife to her chin and forced her to look up at him, "You could've gotten hurt, darling. I couldn't live without you. You do realize that?"
She let her fear try and settle before continuing, "Of course."
"Don't make me angry again, or I will make you suffer the repercussions," He stood there for a minute, then gave her an almost evil smirk. He stood straight up against her. He was completely towering over her.
He let the knife start to glide to her collarbone. He removed his hand from her wrists above her and put it on her neck.
"Now, we should get back to what I had planned," he said in a breathy whisper right beside her ear. Lana shuddered, but she remembered that she had to ask him questions. Even though she was scared, she gently pushed him away, just a little. He gave her a confused look.
"I have to ask you something," she said. She didn't want to look at his face, so she stared at his chest.
"Ask away," he said while lifting her face up.
"...What have you done with Greg, Elena, and Finley?" He took a step back and started to slowly pace around.
"Let's just say, they're in good hands," he said with his hands behind his back.
"That doesn't really answer my question," Lana firmly stated, wanting a clear answer to her friends' whereabouts. He shot her a surprised look.
"Well, they're gonna be a part of a little... gift," he said. Lana slowly walked over to him and put her hand on his chest, making him flustered.
"Just promise me they're safe," she said while looking up at him, finally trying to use her power over him. He was head over heels for her and would do anything for her. He put both of his hands over hers.
