another thing i wrote at school

This is another thing I wrote at school, but I didn't write it because I was bored, but because they blocked Pinterest. >:( Anyways, this is another story with Lava, but there are 3 new characters you get to meet! Also, I'm probably gonna write a Christmas one, so look out for that I guess. Hope you enjoy!

-Lava

 The sun was shining brightly, the birds were singing, and the autumn leaves set the trees ablaze. There was not a cloud to be seen, and the sky was the color of sapphires. It was, without a doubt, a perfect day. It was the kind of day that made you want to open your window and-

"LAVA!" a door slammed open. "Did you switch the salt and sugar again?" Snowdrift demanded. Lava had a bad habit of doing stuff like that just to annoy Snowy. It was one of her favorite pastimes.

Without looking up from her video game, Lava replied, "Nope, wasn't me. Was probably Mahogany. Ask her." It was an obvious lie.

"I know it was you." Snowy shook her head. "Besides, Mahogany is sleeping, so it couldn't've been her."
"Wait, did you say Mahogany is sleeping right now?" Lava saved her game and looked up.

"Yeah...?"

Lava got up with a grin. This is gonna be fun.

"Don't do anything that would wake her up, you know how grumpy she gets," Snowy warned. "You wouldn't want another scar on top of your old one."

"I wouldn't dream of it," Lava said innocently.

"Remember, I warned you. It's not my fault if you get hurt."

"I know."

Snowy left the room with a sigh, not even bothering to shut the door behind her. Lava felt a twinge of annoyance, but pushed it down to her stomach and got up. When she went out to the living area for her group, she saw her target almost immediately. Mahogany was sleeping on the couch, right in front of the TV, which was still on. Lava smiled and took a deep breath.

"In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonight," she began loudly.

Mahogany shifted on the couch. "Shut up."

"In the jungle, the quiet jungle, the lion sleeps tonight," Lava sang, even louder than before.

"I said shut up!" Mahogany was getting really annoyed now.

"Near the village, the peaceful village, the lion sleeps tonight," Lava was practically yelling at this point.

"Or at least, I'm trying to!" Mahogany yelled, throwing a pillow at Lava's head. She barely managed to duck. The pillow was flying towards the door when it started to open.

"Watch out!" Lava called, but it was too late. The pillow had hit Scorpion right in the face.

"Who threw that?" He asked, his voice dangerously low.

"It was Mahogany," Lava said. Mahogany glared at Lava before seeing the look on Scorpion's face. Even though she wasn't normally intimidated by looks like that, Lava could see that Mahogany was not in the mood for a fight right now, but even so, Mahogany stayed where she was.

"I only threw it because someone woke me up," Mahogany said, glaring pointedly at Lava. Lava glared right back, before winking. She had a new target.

Lava grabbed another pillow and took aim. She saw Mahogany do the same. At the same time, they launched the pillows straight at Scorpion. Before they could see if they hit the target or not, they turned and ran towards Lava's dorm. As they locked the door behind them, they could hear Scorpion yelling.

"You're gonna pay for that!" He sounded genuinely angry.

Lava rolled her eyes. "He needs to suck it up," she stated. "It's not like we broke his nose or anything."

"Yeah, but he does have a date with Snowy tonight. Maybe he didn't want his hair to get messed up," Mahogany reasoned.

"Maybe..." Lava trailed off. "Wait, if they have a date tonight... Do you wanna spy on them?"

"Obviously." Mahogany and Lava smiled with a mischievous glint in their eyes. Tonight was going to be fun because there's nothing they enjoyed more than messing with Snowy and Scorpion.
