You are in the middle of the class awaiting Mr. Aizawa's instructions, hoping you wouldn't have to do anything big.
"We will have a class project, you have 2 weeks to do it. I'll choose your partners." Aizawa called out to the class.
"Great..." you thought to yourself.
He posted up a list, searching to see who you were paired with.
"(y/n) and Mineta."
You were stuck with a perverted grape-head baby. For two weeks. How are you going to survive?!
You looked back at Mineta, who already had heart eyes and drooling.
You walked up to him, which fills you with regret but ultimately had to, and started talking to about how and where you guys were going to do the project.
"We can go to your house (y/n)-chan," he said with a smirk.
You rolled your eyes and gave a fake smile, you were trying to be nice.
"Alright."
Short time skip brought to you by Uraraka's smile.
It was lunchtime and you sat with Izuku, Shoto, and Uraraka.
You guys were talking about the group project and told each other who they got paired with. Izuku and Shoto were partners and so was Mina and Uraraka. It was all good until they asked who you were partners with.
"Mineta..." you said with a deep sigh.
Shoto's eyes immediately widened but stayed quiet and continued drinking from his apple juice carton. He's always liked you and felt jealous when he saw you with another guy besides Izuku, but Mineta being near you didn't sit well with him.
Izuku chuckled nervously and Uraraka started to worry but the topic changed after a few minutes. You all then heard the bell rang and walked back to class together.
Another time skip to the end of class brought to you by Kirishima's chuckle.
"So we'll all walk together, right?" Izuku asked, looking at you, while Mineta and Shoto were behind him.
"Well Duh! We're neighbors Deku!" you replied with a smile.
You all walked out of the school and took the path to your house. You all agreed to hang out at your house while also working on your projects.
On your way home, you and Izuku were in front while Shoto and Mineta were behind.
You and Deku were talking the whole way and started to feel a slight breeze of wind. Without realizing, your uniform skirt was going up a bit.
Mineta noticed almost right away and was moving his short hand up to grab your rear end thinking he could be able to get away with it, but he was immediately stopped by Shoto.
Shoto grabbed his arm and then started using his quirk to freeze his arm while glaring at him.
"Don't you dare touch her," he said quietly but enough for Mineta to hear.
Mineta looked at his arm and gulped, he was shaking and repeatedly said sorry with tears coming out of his eyes.
Shoto didn't want you to know about what Mineta was going to do, he didn't want you to be scared or worried and wanted to protect you.
After a few minutes of walking, you finally arrived at your house, and welcomed everyone inside and told them to head to your living room couch while you grabbed some snacks and drinks.
You were all working hard for a few hours but both Deku & Mineta had to leave early since the sun was going down. The only one left was Shoto, sitting peacefully on the couch while writing down notes.
You didn't know how to make things less awkward since you & Shoto barely interact unless Izuku was there. You can't lie to yourself though, you found Shoto really attractive & had a small crush on him ever since Izuku introduced him to you, but never attempted to do anything about it.
You looked at the time which read "8:25 P.M." which was perfect for a conversation starter.
"Hey Shoto, it's getting pretty late, are you hungry at all?"
He looked at you and responded, "You're right it is getting pretty late, but if it doesn't bother you I'd love to eat."
You got up and told him to follow you to your kitchen while taking out things to make his favorite, cold soba. After a while, you both finally finished and ate together at your table across from each other.
"You know y/n, you'd make a really good wife someday" Shoto said, not realizing how flustered it made both of you seconds after him saying that.
"I hope I didn't make you uncomfortable saying that y/n! I don't know what I'm s-"
You interrupted him, "Don't worry Shoto, I know you'd make a good husband as well."
You both stared at each other, Shoto noticing how red your cheeks have gotten. He stood up from his seat and walked towards you. You can feel your heart beating crazily, making you get even more nervous.
Shoto took the chance to give you a hug. Not letting go for a few seconds. He wanted to tell you how he felt, he wanted to be with you so badly.
"y/n, I didn't think I'd have the confidence to tell you but I've developed feelings for you."
"Shoto I-"
"May I take you out on a date?" He looked at you with a serious expression.
"Shoto, I'd love to..." you said, with your cheeks still bright red, looking down due to you still being flustered about the whole situation.
He picked your head up, giving you a kiss on the cheek.

i wanted to make a part 2 for this but wanted to ask if you guys would want it to be a lemon 😳 or to leave it as a fluff, i want to make you guys have a good & comfortable reading experience. but sheesh, this has been my longest one so far. it's good to be back!
