hello to the 2 people that actually read this! btw this is one of the fluffiest/ most cliché chapters in the book. it's also a bit rushed so there's that. i procrastinated hella much on this one. enjoy i think!

nick sat there in bliss as his two best friends rambled about how the movie was. clay didn't even like all that much, nick could tell, but he fibbed a bit so george would be happy. "see, nick? it wasn't a waste of time!"

"yeah. i guess it wasn't after all. i'm just glad i got to spend time with you guys. anything's fun when it's with you two." nick gushed. all three seemed a bit red in the face as he said it. "well- uh... what do you guys wanna do next? we've still got a few hours before it's night. unless you wanna sleep over tonight?" george just nodded gratefully for the offer and clay said he'd need to ask. clay walked off into the hallway to call his dad.

"well, while he's gone, lets decide what to do. we could play a game? like... uhh... truth or dare? or... never have i ever!" nick suggested.

"never have i ever it is!" george responded, flopping onto the bed dramatically. as if on cue, clay walked into the room and said that he could stay. nick told clay that they were going to play never have i ever, and his face went pale.

"uh your face is, like, ghostly pale. are you okay?" george said, peeking from behind nick's bed.

"yeah! i just... i'm fine." clay responded, walking over to the door. "i'll be right back."

"where are you going?" nick inquired, thinking clay looked cute when he's flustered.

"...bathroom." clay grumbled before walking off and locking the bathroom door. it was obvious he was nervous or upset about something, but george and nick couldn't figure it out.

"well, he did seem nervous when you mentioned never have i ever." george totaled.

"shit. he's probably nervous he'll get asked something personal. c'mon." nick said, motioning for george to come along. down the hallway, nick lightly knocked on the door and started speaking in a gentle voice. "hey clay, it's ok if you don't wanna play never have i ever. we can always do something else!"

"no, if you guys wanna play never have i ever, i'm fine with it. i just had to text my sister that i was staying the night." clay spoke as he bit is lip a bit, a telltale sign he was lying.

"...in the bathroom..?" nick laughed a bit.

"sure." clay responded as he got up from leaning on the bathroom wall and walked back to nick's room.

they cycled through the basic questions everyone asks before george said that it was boring.

"we need it to be S P I C Y ." george purred in a weird way, though it wasn't seductive. george is terrible at being sexy.

"uhhh like what?" nick muttered, grabbing a fuzzy blanket off his bed.

"how about crush related stuff?" clay blurted not-so-calmly. "we never talk about it with each other, why is that?" the room went silent. they all didn't wanna talk about it, but they all knew they sort of had to.

"..."

"ok fine." nick said, holding his breath.

(idk how other people play never have i ever, but for me and my friends, when someone has, they raise their hand, so i'm using that playing mechanic.)

"never have i ever... been in a relationship before." clay said.

clay and nick raised their hands.

"never have i ever liked a guy before." nick asked.

all three of them raised their hands.

"hey, you said you were straight, clay!" george taunted, a little embarrassed he had his hand up.

"yeah i lied. i'm gay." clay chuckled, finally seeming relaxed.

"yeah same. i guess we're all a bit gay." george chatted, with nick just smiling a bit.

"never have i ever liked someone in our friend group." george said. (in this i mean not just the dream team. wilbur, niki, tommy, etc. are also in the friend group.)

all three raised their hands again.

"damn! imagine if we all liked the same person." nick crowed, wondering what he should ask after clay asked his question. it all depended on what he asked, but nick was feeling confident around them for the first time in forever. nick was going to tell them about his feelings that night.

"if anything weird is asked, i say we blame george." clay whispered to nick. they both snickered a bit while george pouted.

"what did you say to him?!" george nagged.

"just that we should blame you if anything happens. you are the one who wanted things to be," clay paused for dramatic effect. " S P I C Y . "

"ok yeah that's fair." george said, shrugging it off.

"never have i ever liked a GUY  in our friend group." clay said.

all three raised their hands. nick had a confused face on.

"there's literally only one girl in our friend group, and she's taken." nick said, confused.

"well yeah but like... to be honest i couldn't think of anything else." clay huffed.

it was nick's time. his stomach was upside down but he still knew what he had to do. "never have i ever liked someone in this room."

all three glanced at each other before cautiously raising their hands.

"uh..."

"heh..."

"well this is awkward-" nick said, tucking his shirt into his cuffed jeans. (classic bisexual move, nick. the bi gods would be proud. that's me. i'm the bi gods.) "but i've waited too long to not tell you guys. i've liked both of you for like a year now and i really needed to tell you."

"hell yeah! i thought i was the only one." clay laughed, now beaming.

"...yeah i've had a crush on you guys since 8th grade." george admitted, his anxiety was through the roof.

"well that's quite a coincidence..."clay said as he pulled the others into a big hug and kissed both of them on the cheek.

"damn! wish i had your confidence." nick said as he laid his head against the side of the bed. george stayed silent, tears in his eyes. "gogy! what's wrong?"

"i-" george sniffled. "it's dumb... i'm just really happy. i've loved you guys for years and everything is finally perfect." (ohoho not for long. we need angst. gotta give the people what they want!)

"yeah... everything is finally perfect." nick promised. he hugged george and clay as they all fell asleep.

they didn't care they were on the floor, leaning up against the side of the bed. they didn't care that it was sort of uncomfortable. they didn't care that all of their phones kept on making noise and lighting up from all the texts they seemed to be getting. all they cared about was each other.

the end.

hah i'm just fucking with you it's not the end. we need to fulfill all that shit in the trigger warning section before it can be done! get ready for AnGsT!
