Changbin POV
-----------------------------
Changbin wandered in the lighted city, not bothering to look for the stars. Why bother when you know all the smog was hiding them? Instead, he scanned the streets, looking for his new victim to drag down to Hell with him. He licked his lips, seeing many possible candidates. But none of them were his perfect type. No, he was looking for someone completely pure to corrupt.
Distracted, he didn't notice a young man running towards him. The young man did not watch where he was going and rammed into Changbin, falling down. For a hot minute, the devil's anger burned inside him, hotter than the flames he knew from his home. He forced himself to calm down, remembering that he was on Earth.
Changbin looked down at the young man. He's quite cute, he thought to himself. And so perfect. The boy had dark brown hair, equally brown eyes that shone bright with childlike innocence, and freckles dappled across his face. And there was a familiar aura around him, but not one Changbin could immediately figure out. The devil extended a hand to the fallen boy.
"Are you alright?" he asked gently, voice dripping in false concern. The boy looked up at him, a shadow of worry and fear covering his face. It was gone as quickly as it came. The young man grabbed Changbin's extended hand, accepting help up.
"Y-yeah," he stammered. "I'm okay."
"Are you quite sure?" Changbin pressed. "I have been told that running into me is like running into a wall." The boy gave him a sheepish smile.
"Yes," he said. "I'm fine."
Changbin extended his hand again. "I'm Changbin," he introduced.
"Felix," the young man replied, cautiously shaking Changbin's hand before taking his hand away quickly.
"Why were you running?" Changbin asked. "Is someone chasing you?" Felix nodded but smiled.
"By a friend," he explained. "We're just playing."
Almost as if on cue, another boy ran up behind Felix. He had curly blonde hair, gentle eyes, and handsome dimples. As he came up to Felix and Changbin, the smile that had been on his face slowly disappeared.
"What are you doing?" the new boy hissed at Felix. He grabbed his wrist and dragged Felix away from Changbin. "You know I have to report this to the Queen of Angels!"
Changbin blinked at what he had heard and thought to himself. Angel. That was what Felix was. That was why his aura was so distantly familiar. He looked back up to Felix and his friends' running figures just in time to see Felix shyly wave back to him.
The devil smirked to himself. Felix would be punished for speaking with him, for being friendly with one; for the angel couldn't possibly not have known he was a devil. Devils have a very dark and identifiable aura. Changbin would beg Lucifer himself in order to be the one to punish this sweet and pure angel he found so lovely. So perfect.
In the meantime, however, he still wanted to find a pure soul to bring with him back to Hell. Changbin scanned the crowd again, everyone seeming so impure after meeting Felix the Angel.
