PROOFREADING
Proofreading is usually the last step in the editing process. This includes checking for errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
EDITING
Editing focuses on sentence structure, choice of wording, and smoothens out awkward tones in the story. Proofreading is included in editing.
