The New Girl - Chapter Four

Jess's P.O.V

I couldn't believe he had the EXACT same guitar as me! He played a few songs, he was really good on the guitar! He played a song which I had never heard of before.

J- what's this song called?

N- I...I uhm... I wrote it myself

He said scratching the back of his head awkwardly

J- wow! It's really good, what is it called?

N- thanks and it doesn't have a name yet!

J- sing the lyrics to me, please?

N- I don't sing, but you can read them if you like?

He handed me a sheet of music paper with the cords on and writing underneath it. I read it, they were really good!

J- these are really good!

N- thanks, again!

I handed him back the paper.

Niall's P.O.V

I didn't want to say that I wrote my own songs... It'd be a bit lame, but I came through with it and she took it okay, she was really interested! I let her read them, I didn't want to tell her about who it was about, just thinking of her makes me sick! Why would anyone hurt me like that? She looked really interested in my work, I think this was a good sign!

We talked for abit and got to know things about each other... We also chilled in my treehouse that we had in our back garden... It was really cool... I just go in there to get away from all the hassle and things! She liked the treehouse! I decided to have some Bon bons without her knowing, I had three... So far...

"Niall?"

"Myeamh?"

I said with a mouthful of Bon bons...

" what are you eating?"

"Mnothingf"

I replied smiling, revealing the blue chewy sweets and my braces.

She giggled as a few fell out of my mouth, blue saliva following the sweet along with it, I started to giggle, she was laughing so much that she fell off of her stool, I laughed really loudly! She got up and huffed. I was still laughing!

" not fair, it hurt!"

I stopped laughing she looked upset.

"Oh, are you okay?"

"No!"

"I'm sorry Jess"

She started to giggle, I opened my arms for her to hug me, she accepted and we embraced for a few minutes... I don't know why, but she was quite quiet, it was quite late as we had talked for hours, I gently lifted her up and she was asleep... Aww! I grabbed my sweets and guitar and claimed out of the treehouse and back to my room.

I laid her down on my bed, the spare bed isn't that comfy, she was still sleeping, I took this chance to go to the bathroom and get ready for bed, ill sleep in the spare bed, because I am nice like that! I heard movement, my parents and Jess's parents where In the family room laughing and talking, drinking beer and wine! I heard footsteps coming from my room, Jess must have awoken.

"Niall have you finished in the bathroom?"

"Uhh, yeah just one second!"

I grabbed my clothes that I had been wearing and unlocked the bathroom door for her to use.

"Than... Wow!"

She stopped mid sentence.

"What!? Oh, never seen a mans chest before?"

" I have but not an Irish one!"

"Ha ha!"

"Sorry, thanks anyway!"

Jess P.O.V

"Niall have you finished in the bathroom?"

"Uhh, yeah just one second!"

He unlocked the door, I looked at the ground, them looked up to see him stood there in my presence, he had some lounge pants on and NO top on... Wow! His stomach, not so yet got abs, but he's working on it and getting some, it is just so beautiful! Jess what are you saying? You've loved a guy for 5 months, you've just gotten out of a relationship not long ago... Get a grip of yourself woman! Gosh!

"Than... Wow!"

"What!? Oh, never seen a mans chest before?"

" I have but not an Irish one!"

What a stupid thing to say....

"Ha ha!"

"Sorry, thanks anyway!"

I said as he pondered off into his room, I went in the bathroom for a pee and to get changed.

After I got changed I took my clothes that I had been wearing since half six this morning and put them in a spare drawer out of the way. Niall look up and couldn't take his eyes off of me for some reason.

"What's wrong? Never seen a Yorkshire lass in an oversized t-shirt?"

"No I haven't this is my first time!"

I giggled at his comment.

"Just wondering that's all!"

" okay ...."

That comment was a bit too weird! I climbed into bed, stuck my phone on charge and switched the lamp out, Niall still had his lamp on but turned it off after a while, my parents were on their way upstairs, so were Niall's, I heard the door creak open, so I shut my eyes pretending to be asleep, they whispered something that I couldn't quite make out...oh well, it's been a long day, might catch some sleep!

I shut my eyes then I heard someone whispering my name..I sat up And switched my lamp on Niall was sat up and gesturing me over to his bed, I did so and sat down.

"What's wrong?"

"Uhm, I'm quite scared!" .......
