I ran my hands through my braids, i had just finished them last night. I bobbed my head to the beat of the music that played thru my speakers.... yep you guessed it. I got myself a car. well i didn't buy it. but it's mine. One of my moms MANY boyfriends bought it for me believe it or not. its a 2017 red coupe.

today was the last day of week we had classes. I was really just wasting time in the car, that way i didn't have to talk to no one during passing time or sum. It's been like this for almost a week and a half. i slowly noticed that eli and melo we distancing themselves from me. so i started to ride the bus again but.... long story short i got a car now.
our district said they were still gonna carry out sports so... i thought i'd try out for volley ball. don't have anything better to do anyway.
practices start tomorrow theres two practices before we find out who gets cut and who gets to stay. fine with me. huffing i turned my car off grabbing my bag getting out. throwing my bag over my shoulder i walked into the school with my head down. i stopped at my locker for a brief moment to grab some things when someone spoke from behind me.
"oh there you are... i didn't see you earlier thought u was skipping school today or something."
turning around i saw melo standing behind me. i just nodded and went back to what i was doing.
Melo: so ummm.... did the bus run late or something.
pausing i looked over my shoulder at him. he stood there with his hands in his pockets and a slight blush on his face.
Me: nah...
was all i said.
i finally faced him as i began adding somethings into my bag. i really didn't care to hold a convo with eli or melo anymore. they just ghost me and come around every now and then to see if i'm still breathing. shit isn't the same no more. i had to mute their stories bc all they do is post them having fun with gelo or other people. i don't even get on IG anymore. But what did i even expect they are his friends after all... shit they all practically family. i'm just so tired.... tired of making friends just for them to become old friends. tired of feeling alone..... tired of it all.
