Jay and Carlos || Christmas

Requested? YES/ NO: Can you please do the Christmas oneshot Jay x reader x Carlos in Y/N and the other character's POVs? Please make it fluffy and cute! I was also thinking that Jane gets jealous when she finds out that Y/N is in a polygamous relationship with Jay and Carlos but she eventually realizes that Carlos doesn't love her in that way!

Gender: i tried to keep this as gender netural as possible, they/them.

Warnings: none really, the reader is in a polygamy relationship with Jay and Carlos (the reader is with the boys but the boys arent together; they're just with the reader.

Christmas came around quicker than anyone could have believed and soon enough Auradon was buzzing with colours, smells and sights galore. Everyone was buzzing with the Christmas feelings; all except the VKs. After the fiasco of Hades and Audrey the kids were able to settle down and properly finish their schooling, during that time both Carlos and Jay had taken a liking to you, after a few bumps and play fights between the two of them you came to the agreement of being a healthy polygamy throuple.

"CARLOS, JAY" you called out; Jay excused himself from the group of people he was telling a heroic story as Carlos jogged to you with Dude next to him.

"Everything okay?" Carlos asked.

"Yeah! Ben wants to put the tree up with you guys and Mal and Evie!" you started to walk away excited. The boys looked to each other confused while mouthing 'tree?' but followed you nonetheless.

"What tree?" Jay questioned as the two caught up with you in the large dining hall for the school. In the far corner of the room stood a large green tree that almost touched the ceiling.

"That tree!" you exclaimed happily.

"Wait im- im confused what is this?" Carlos looked around at the other students who were putting up random coloured lights and some fluffy looking scarves?

"Christmas!" Mal and Evie came up next to Jay and Carlos with the same confused expressions. It took you a minute to realise they didn't actually know what christmas is, "oh, oh i'm sorry i didn't-"

"It's okay (Y/n)" Mal quickly cut in.

"Just tell us" Evie's smile was calming and intriguing.

"Well, Christmas is a time to give back I guess..." you paused for a moment, "you normally get presents for the people you're closest to and then on the 24th its Christmas Eve, you put the names for the people on your presents and put them under the tree. Then you wake up the next day, christmas day, and open the presents. Then we normally have a big huge christmas feast or kids go home to spend time with their parents," you smiled.

"So we gotta get presents?" Jay asked, you nodded.

"Mainly for your close friends, so you get presents for those in your friend group and me if you feel like it," you shrugged, "i normally only get presents for Ben and our parents but there's not much you can get people who have everything"

"Jay we're getting (Y/n) something," Carlos quickly spoke as Jay gave a firm nod and the two where off planning their surprise. You turned to Mal and Evie with a smile.

"Well i guess i'm getting something this year!"

"Do you not normally get something?" Evie asked.

"Only a present or two, Ben and I normally get stuff throughout the year and those are considered presents. Oh Mal!" you gasped, "there's this thing we do. Each couple or friend group, whatever, can buy a bauble and then decorate it and hang it on the christmas tree! It's meant to bring good luck for the following year" you smiled, "i hope to do it with Jay and Carlos; we normally put those baubles on the day before christmas eve"

"I love it and i'm sure if you bring it up to Jay and Carlos they would love it too!" Evie answered for Mal.

The days flew by and each day was held with more secrets than the last when it came to Jaya and Carlos. The pair would spend the day with you but then insist to have the remaining hours of the day to themselves to sort out their presents for you, you'd normally be okay with that in general but you hated surprises and hated waiting.

"Okay, I was thinking maybe we could do one of those baubles today?" you asked the boys as the three of you made it to the shops, Jay and Carlos became very excited.

"Yes!" they said together. Before you knew it the three of you were sitting at a crafts table with a plain big bauble between you all; adding glitter and sparkles as well as little drawings of the three of you and the things you loved doing together.

"Carlos!" a voice called, Jane.

"Hey Jane!" although the pair had a falling out Carlos and Jane were still good friends.

"I was wondering; did you want to do one of these baubles together? Wish us luck for the coming year together?" Jane asked.

"Um, i'm kind of doing that with (Y/n) and Jay," Carlos said in a small voice, he didn't want to be rude to anyone.

"Why are you doing it with them? We had a relationship not those guys," Jane said in an exasperated way.

"Jane..." you and Jay gave Carlos a sympathetic look, both saying he didn't have to tell her if he didn't want to, "i'm kind of in love with (Y/n)...so..." Jane didn't want to believe it when the words fell from Carlos' mouth.

"Then why is Jay here?"

"Because he's in love with (Y/n) too," Carlos' voice was meek and small, like he really didn't know what to do.

"Are you two trying to woo (Y/n) into loving you or something?" Jane questioned before a devious plan ran through her mind, "because if so I can just take Carlos and (Y/n) and Jay can be together!" Jane was about to grab Carlos when you intervened and held the poor boy close.

"Actually i'm with them both," you smiled, "We're in a polgamy relationship; they love me and are both in a relationship with me but they aren't in a relationship with each other because they're too good of friends for that. Otherwise it would be polyamourus" you smiled sweetly hoping Jane would get the hint.

"But...that doesn't..." Jane had an annoyed but confused look on her face.

"Jane, i can still do a bauble with you but it would only be between friends for us, not romance like it is with (Y/n)" Carlos explained, Jane pouted slightly before agreeing to Carlos' proposition, saying it was better than nothing. The four of you conversed happily as you decorated your respective baubles together and shared stories and laughs.

The 23rd came before you knew it, Jay and Carlos couldn't have been happier to put up the bauble with you before singing carols with the school at dinner.

The 24th came and you plopped down presents for Evie, Mal, Ben and then a few more for Jay and Carlos. Your two boyfriends also made sure you were out of the room before adding their presents for you as well as their own for their friends.

The 25th came through the night and everyone was bouncing from the walls. Jay and Carlos made most of your presents; some knitted clothing and sweaters, handmade clothing, sweets, some CDs including a lot of your favourite music and bands, handwritten love notes and drawings.

Carlos mostly got collars for Dude, new clothes for both himself and Dude and a whole bunch of food.

Jay got many video games, new jackets and food.

All in all a good christmas.
