Oh my god it's Adam! He looks petrified, I have no idea what happened to him but I'm so happy I found him! "Adam!" Felix turns to me within a split second and shushes me. I look back at Adam and he's starring at me like he can't tell if I'm real or not, I approach him and he swings at me I jump back before he can hit me. "Adam what the hell!?" Felix walks over to me helping me up from the ground. Felix looks at me wiping dirt off my face and says "are you ok Anna?" I respond quickly "yes, I'm fine but Adam I'm not so sure about" as I say that Adam grabs my arm and pulls me into a bear hug crying. "You don't understand how long I've been sitting here hoping it wouldnt come back for me, it got Kim, it got Lucy, and I'm sure it got Camron too. I was so happy when I remembered you guys were separated because maybe that would give you guys a better chance. But was I also terrified it got you!" Adam stops to look at Felix who hasn't said a word. "Thank you Felix, you kept my baby sister safe." Adam pulls me close to his chest and I feel like I'm going to pop.

Felix looks at Adam and then at me. "So what do we do now? I slept off the alcohol so if that thing comes back at least I could run straight." He gives us a small smile, I like when he smiles and tells small jokes. Adam smiles back and says "well I sure as hell didn't sleep the alcohol off so I couldn't sweet talk it into not eating us." Me and Felix both laugh at Adams joke. I look at Adam and say "Yeah you can't sweet talk anything with how much you slur your words drunk." He looks at me and says straight faced. "It's called talking in cursive, it's elegant." We all laugh but not to loud because no one knows if that thing is near by.

Me and Felix help Adam up. "Adam." Felix says. "Yes Felix?" Felix looks at the ground and then at the blood on Adams shirt before saying anything. "What happened to you?" Adam looks like he expected this question to pop up sometime soon. "It's hard to explain but I'll try, you guys have to tell me what happens to you after." He takes a deep breath and breathes out with a sigh. "So, I saw Camron and Lucy fall I laughed about it with Kim. We asked if they were ok they told us they were so we kept walking. When I turned around I didn't see them, it was like they dissolved into the air. But even then I thought it was fine because I guessed they were slowing down to walk with you guys. So I turned the corner with Kim and then she randomly turned, I yelled out to her asking what the hell she was doing. But the next thing I knew I couldn't see her. Then I walked into the alley after her, just to see... that, that, that thing! It was halfway shaped into Kim and half what ever the hell it is. It tried to talk to me saying honey what are you doing? But it didn't sound like Kim, I screamed and that confused it so I hit it just so I could run. I made it here and sense then I've just been waiting, and waiting, and waiting. That's why I tried to hit you Anna, I'm sorry." He looked so sad telling us the story I , but now it was my turn to tell him what happened to us.

"Damn, looks like Felix being weirdly observant for a drunk saved you guys." He said looking at Felix, Felix looked away. Is there something they're not telling me? "Adam why are you looking at him like that?" Adam looks at me and smiles. "No reason." Then he stands up, I kinda forgot how tall he was and the way he stood up was intimidating. I means he's 6 foot 10 inches. Me and Felix look like children compared to him. "Ok well we should probably get moving before that demonic thing comes for a piece of our asses." He says putting a hand on Felix's shoulder, Felix halfway jumps back at the jester as if Adam was going to hurt him.

I swear they aren't telling me something. I walk over to Felix and put my head on his shoulder once Adam moved his hand. Adams right next to me and so is Felix, it feels like they're protecting me and it makes me feel like nothing could happen.
I close my eyes.

Then I hear another set of walking. I think Adam hears it too because he turns and stops, I stop right after then Felix. "Fuck, it's definitely found us..." Adam says this walking back towards us, he steps on something and it squeezes out some black liquid that's thick and oily. "Oh god... Go! Go! Go!" Adam screams as he runs picking me up.
