Tim wakes up in fright. He looks around to see that he's in the coal bin. He instantly remembers last night's events and groans. Tim turns to his big sister to see she's still asleep and drooling. He smiles gently and moves some of her slightly greasy hair away from her mouth to see something on her neck he had never seen before.

A scar.

A finger-length, red,  scar on her neck, usually hidden by her pink hair. It looks like a knife nicked her neck. Where did she get it? When did she get it? Was she ever going to show him the scar? So many questions flying through his mind, wondering how she kept it hidden from them. He sighs and opens the furnace, which has gone out a while ago. He taps the floor of it, making sure it's not too hot, and climbs up. He removes the grate to find that his parents are awake.

"Father, I love the smell of fresh yarn in the morning." Mother says, causing Father to bark.

"Gah! Parents already up? Despicable!" Tim whispers.

Mother croons, "Harvesting your mustache makes such lovely yarn."

(I'm going to cringe wayyyyy too much writing this, so I'm skipping, for both my benefit, and yours. So, just skipping to when Tim is in the Library.)

Y/N opens her eyes to find that her brother isn't in the coal bin with her. She lifts her shorts slightly, showing a scar on her thigh. The spider from last night walks up to her and makes a chirp-like noise.

"It's fine, spider. It's just an old wound." She smiles softly.

Y/N sees the book Tim was reading last night. She stands up, walks over to it, then picks it up. She brushes the coal dust off and puts it back in its hiding place. The spider climbs up to her shoulder to see her scar on her neck. It chirps, asking about that scar.

"Long story. Where's Tim?"

The spider points at the furnace and Y/N rolls her e/c orbs.

"Of course he got up without waking me." Y/N mutters.

She climbs up and moves the grate out of the way to see that Mother and Father are in that room. She hears some of Mother's words and gags. She looks into the room for a second and frowns.

"How am I going to get past Blockheads One and Two?" She asks.

The spider on her shoulder runs on the spot to give her an idea.

"That might work." Y/N smiles.

She backs up a bit, then runs and dives past the door, landing on her hands, curls into a ball, all with making very little noise. She uncurls to find that she's at the foot of the staircase.

"Thanks, spider. You know, I'm gonna need to give you a name." Y/N smirks.

The spider chatters quietly in response as the teen walks up the steps.

"Are you harbouring a raccoon again!?" Y/N hears Tim ask.

Y/N sighs, "Jane's done something..."

She opens the door to see something running through the library.

"That is something!" Tim exclaims.

Jane asks, "Is it more of a some, or more of a thing?"

Y/N asks, "Jane... What have you done now? What is that?"

Tim panics as the strange creature runs through the library. Y/N looks at her shoulder. The spider shrugs. Suddenly, the odd creature stops underneath a book. Jane lifts it, causing the creature to jump onto her face. Jane turns around to show it's a baby with blue hair, pink skin, and a yellow outfit. The baby shrieks, causing Tim to fall over.
