(Y/N) WAS JUST lying down on her single bed, placed in the corner of her room, looking up at her room's plain ceiling in silence. the peace was interrupted when a knock on her door resonated, signalling someone was outside.
"who is it?" the girl asked, sitting up on her bed. she swung her legs off the bed and onto the floor then walked towards the door.
she then opened it and peered outside to see who was standing outside. (y/n) was greeted by the sight of a friendly and adorable brunette by the name ochaco uraraka, who stood nervously.
"do you need something?" (y/n) asked with a blank expression on her face. uraraka gulped and asked the girl, "uh, do you mind going downstairs for a bit? deku found this video online and we were wondering if you wanted to watch it with us since we're the only ones in the dorms,"
(y/n) pondered a bit before hesitantly nodding, it's not like she was doing anything productive anyway.
"as long as it's not an all might compilation video," to which uraraka smiled and giggled.
when the two girls finally made their way down to the common room, they spotted midoriya and iida sitting comfortably on the couch. midoriya had the remote in his hand while seemingly looking for a certain video on the television hung on the wall.
"ah, (l/n), so glad you can make it," iida stated.
"uraraka said midoriya has a video to show us or something?" (y/n) asked as she plopped herself on a single seated couch.
"hold on for a sec, i just gotta play it and we're good to go," midoriya pressed a few buttons and a video started playing on the television.
the video started with a boy twerking in the bathroom, laughing to himself only for him to brush a spider off his arm in panic.
uraraka couldn't help but laugh at the silliness the boy in the video was displaying. "that's funny,"
midoriya laughed as well, "just wait, it gets funnier," the boy in the video stood on the toilet bowl and scanned the bathroom for the insect to no avail.
said boy then nearly lost his balance but managed to regain it when he accidentally placed his foot into the toilet bowl.
iida started laughing as well when the boy in the video started crying out for his mother, trying to leave the bathroom by holding on the bath tub's curtains only for it to fall, resulting him to crash onto the ground.
uraraka and midoriya had tears in their eyes from the laughing spell, whilst (y/n) watched the video with the same normal blank expression. she peeked a glance at the three people, laughing at the television and let out a teeny tiny smile to which it quickly disappeared.
as the (h/c) haired girl returned her focus on the video once again, the three spared a glance at her only to see the usual expression they see every day. they all looked at one another and sighed to themselves.
'guess a 'try not to laugh' challenge is a fail.' midoriya thought to himself.
