Chapter 8

Liyah: *is in the room and there is a knock on the door, she opens the door and a guard speaks to her*
Guard: "Lady Liyah. The king has summoned for you, and wishes to speak with you immediately"
Liyah: "The King?! O-okay I'm ready now"
Guard: "I'll take you to him" *he leads her to the king's room* "The King wishes to speak with you privately in his chambers"
Liyah: *feels weirded out* "O-okay"
Guard: *he opens the door for her*
Liyah: "Thank you" *goes in and bows* "Your Highness you called for me?"
Odin: "Yes." *he turns around* "First of all, how are you, Lady Liyah?"
Liyah: "I'm okay thank you for asking"
Odin: "Of course. It's come to my attention recently that you were once in an intimate relationship with my late son. Is this true?"
Liyah: *she gets surprised and blushes* "Yes I was"
Odin: "I see... You must be devastated. Even if it is the second time this has happened"
Liyah: "I...am" *looks down sadly*
Odin: "I'm very sorry. I'm sure you must have much you wish you could say"
Liyah: "I do...a lot...but it's too late now...he's really gone now" *looks up and smiles sadly*
Odin: "Well, Liyah, it turns out that isn't actually the case" *he reveals*
Liyah: "What?" *says surprised* "What do you mean? Don't tell me...did you cover it up again, Your Highness? Saying that Loki died to keep whatever secret you have to stay a secret?" *says upset*
Odin: "Close but not quite" *he changes into Loki*
Liyah: *her eyes widen in surprise*
Loki: *he swallows and manages a smile* "Hello Liyah"
Liyah: "L-Loki?...I-Is that really you?" *says while being a little shaken*
Loki: "It is me. In the flesh" *he answers and starts walking towards her*
Liyah: *she goes to him then slaps him*
Loki: "Mm" *he rubs his cheek* "Okay. I may have deserved that"
Liyah: "That was for Asgard" *slaps his other cheek* "And that was for me thinking you were dead...twice now!" *says angrily*
Loki: "Well at least you don't hit as hard as my brother"
Liyah: "Don't make me slap you again Loki" *grabs him by his clothes and kisses him passionately* "And that was for being glad and happy that you're alive"
Loki: *he kisses back and rests his hands on her arms* "Well I'm glad you're still somewhat happy to see me"
Liyah: "I am but I'm still very upset at you"
Loki: "I can imagine. But please, I need you to keep this a secret"
Liyah: *realizes* "Since you have the throne now"
Loki: "Mainly, yes"
Liyah: "Mainly?"
Loki: "Yes... Taking the place of my father is the only way that I will be able to finally live out my dream. It's complicated, but please. This is the chance I've wanted" *he says earnestly*
Liyah: "Well congratulations you've gotten what you've always wanted" *pulls back from him from being upset*
Loki: "Please, Liyah, promise me that you will keep my secret"
Liyah: *sighs* "I promise"
Loki: "Thank you" *he sighs in relief*
Liyah: "Well now you have the throne so...I know I'm not needed anymore...I'll leave now"
Loki: "I still want you here though"
Liyah: "Really?" *doesn't believe him*
Loki: "Of course. Why else would I reveal to myself to you?"
Liyah: "I don't know but your whole goal is the throne and it was the source of all the lies you fed me with...now I don't know what to believe anymore or if I should believe you at all"
Loki: "I haven't lied to you, Liyah. Have I told you everything? No, but I've never been untruthful"
Liyah: "This is so confusing" *shakes her head*
Loki: "Then allow me to make it simple" *he takes her hands* "Keep my secret, and stay with me. We can go back to the way things were before all this"
Liyah: "And what if something happens? If the throne is taken away you'll just go and try to get it back right?...Then the lies will just come back again"
Loki: "Not to you. Not again" *he promises*
Liyah: "You promise?"
Loki: "I promise"
Liyah: "No more lies please" *hugs him*
Loki: *he hugs back* "No more lies"
Liyah: *she looks up at him* "I love you still Loki"
Loki: "You do?"
Liyah: "Mhmm" *nods* "I always have...I'm just hurt with all the lies, deception, and your death...twice"
Loki: "I understand"
Liyah: "I'm not fragile or anything so please...be honest and tell me everything okay?"
Loki: "Okay" *he agrees*
Liyah: "Good" *kisses him*
Loki: *he kisses back*
Liyah: *she kisses him deeply* "Mmm"
Loki: "Mmm" *he kisses deeply back*
Liyah: *she slowly pulls back* "Can we...go to the bedroom and be together again?"
Loki: "Of course" *he smiles and takes her hand to lead her to the bedroom*
Liyah: *she smiles back, takes his hand back, and follows*

*After*

Liyah: "I heard about your mother and I wanted to say I'm so sorry Loki"
Loki: "It's...fine" *he says slowly*
Liyah: *strokes his cheek and kisses him* "I'll be here whenever you need me and always"
Loki: *he kisses back* "Thank you"
Liyah: "You're welcome...She was kind to me...I kept thinking she knew about us but I didn't think so...I was so worried" *chuckles*
Loki: "Haha, she probably did know. She was always one step ahead"
Liyah: "Oh gawd!" *covers her blushing face*
Loki: *he chuckles again*
Liyah: "Hey Loki, did you actually...get hurt and felt like you were dying? Or did you disappear just in time?"
Loki: "I did feel like I was dying for a moment. Both times. I came very close" *he answers honestly*
Liyah: "I'm so sorry Loki...that must've felt horrible and going through that alone" *strokes his cheek*
Loki: "It's alright. I made it through okay" *he smiles*
Liyah: *smiles back* "Good" *she now looks serious* Have you...ever thought about me?"
Loki: "Of course. Often" *he answers*
Liyah: "Really?" *smiles*
Loki: "Yes really" *he chuckles and kisses her*
Liyah: *she kisses him back* "I've thought of you every day"
Loki: "Every day?"
Liyah: "Mhmm...You're constantly on my mind Loki...and I've been living here in your room" *chuckles*
Loki: *he chuckles* "Well, you can move into the king's quarters with me now"
Liyah: "Really?!" *says surprised*
Loki: "Secretly, but yes" *he smiles*
Liyah: "Back to being in secret huh?" *strokes his chest*
Loki: "It's a necessary evil" *he shrugs and chuckles*
Liyah: "I guess so...but I'm still glad you're okay"
Loki: "Thank you" *he holds her to him*
Liyah: "Of course...Please don't die or more fake news of your death...I can't take it again" *she holds him back and tears up* "I felt hurt in pain, scared, and alone"
Loki: "No more fake deaths" *he wipes her tears, strokes her cheek, and kisses her forehead*
Liyah: *she puts her hand and head on his chest* "Good...can I stay...with you tonight?"
Loki: *smiles and strokes her hair* "Of course"
Liyah: *smiles, looks up at him, and kisses him* "Well then, goodnight Loki, my love" *she nuzzles and holds him*
Loki: *chuckles and holds her tightly to him* "Goodnight Liyah, my love"
*they both fall asleep in each other's arms*
