My eyes slowly open, a groan escaping my lips. I rubbed my face and sat up in my bed. I could feel the tried tears stuck around my eyes. Realizing I must have fallen asleep sometime around six in the afternoon I glanced at the clock. In bright bold letters my analog clock read 11:00 P.M.

I laid back down, eyes open, simply listening to the hums of my laptop and the distance audio of my parents TV.

I heard a faint knocking, not from my door it from my window. I slowly made my way to the window sill and opened my curtains. I couldn't believe who was standing on my balcony.

Christopher Smith.

He stood there smirking wildly, tousling his brown locks with his hand. Completely and utterly surprised it took me a few minutes to open my sliding door. I clicked it up and he strode in like it was the most normal thing ever. He laid down on my bed, slid under my covers and grabbed the remote from my night stand.

"well what are you waiting for princess, go get the snacks so we can watch some movies." his blue eyes sparkled with mock innocence. I stood slowly debating on whether to argue with him or give in to his request. I sighed and ran down the stairs to grab chips, ice pops, popcorn, and soda, all which we always had during movie nights. On my way back to my room I was caught red handed by my mom.

"sweetheart you can't possibly eat all of that what are you doing?" I wasn't sure that I wanted to tell her there was currently a 17 year old boy in my bed waiting for me and these snacks but I did anyway. "well, you see, well, Chris is over and we're having one of our movie nights like when we were kids bye!" I darted up the stairs and shut my bedroom door behind me before she cold protest.

We got comfortable and started eating when I realized it was a school night. "Chris what really doing here." I whispered. "I missed you, and honestly I'd rather be here with you than home alone again." Christopher's parents were actors, always working on a new project, that's why him and I were so close. He didn't want to be home alone with the nannies and the maids he wanted to be with a family.

He looked so vulnerable right now. Tears brimmed his eyes, so he slowly them shut. God I missed him, and he missed me. We needed each other. Right? I grabbed the remote, turned the TV off, dimmed the lights and let Chris cry on my shoulder. I let him tell me all about the months I was away. About why everything happened between us. Apologizes and tears were squeezed from us as we realized all we have done wrong.
