You didn't remember your past. Nor did you remember your family.
The oldest memory you had was of you waking up in some ruins.
You woke up with an injured arm and headache. You found a bag and a f/w next to you. You looked though it and found some medicine. You took it hoping it would help with your headache. After you took the medicine you got up took the bag and started walking.
Where?
You didn't know.
After a little while of walking you found yourself surrounded by strange human-like creatures. They couldn't speak any known language. You quickly took your f/w and wiped them out one by one. You heard some voices in the distance. You hurried to the source of them but when you reached the place you couldn't see anyone. You felt something cold against the skin of your neck.
A weapon.
We're you being attacked? Did the opponent plan to kill you? What have you done to deserve a weapon at your neck?
"Were you eavesdropping?" The person spoke.
"No" You responded while trying to hide your fear.
"Why are you here then? This isn't a place that the common folk would visit." He spoke.
From the voice you could tell that it was a he who was speaking. He spoke emotionlessly as if he wouldn't care about taking your life.
"I don't know."
"You don't know?" He scoffed.
"I just woke up in some ruins around here. I don't remember anything else." You said trying to sound as honest as you could.
"I see." He removed his spear from your neck as he said that.
You felt a slight feeling of relief. You were now facing the mysterious male. He was not that tall and had black hair.
"Staring is considered rude." His voice snapped you out of your thoughts.
"Oh yeah... sorry" You spoke still confused.
"You don't look like a local." He spoke once again.
"I don't think I'm a local."
'They don't think? Surely they must be lying.' He thought.
"Why are you speaking of yourself as if you don't know who you are?"
"Well.. I don't remember who I am to be honest." They said while looking him in the eyes.
"You don't remember who you are? Nor do you remember where you're from?" He raised a brow.
"Well.. I.. I just woke up in some ruins and found these things. I don't know anything else about myself." You spoke as calmly as you could manage.
He seemed lost in thought for a second.
"Tell me your name" He demanded somewhat emotionlessly.
"Uh.. y/n I think."
"You think?"
"I don't know who I am. I don't remember anything." You said in a panicked state.
"Oh? Well my name is Xiao. I will take you to the closest place where you could stay." He spoke.
"Oh... Okay!" You said in somewhat a happy tone.
After walking for a little while you got to your "destination"
It was a huge house built on a massive pillar. Xiao said its 'Wangshu inn'. It was a hotel. When you got closer Xiao said he still has business to attend to and so you were alone. Again.
You decided to go inside and get a room. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and so you got a room. You told her what had happened and she gave you a room for free and said "Stay as long as you like! But repay me with the same kindness."
💙Time skip after a week💙
You had been staying at the Inn for a week now and you were starting to get bored all you did was lay around all day. You decided to go to Liyue Harbor and join the adventurers guild.
You told the lady at the front desk that you would be away for a few days or a week. You bid your goodbyes and you were on your way.
While going to Liyue Harbor you found yourself surrounded by those strange creatures again. You had learned that those were hilichulrs. You quickly wiped them out with your f/w. They were in your way so they had to be removed by force. After finishing off the party of hilichurls more arrived you were trying to dodge all their attacks and you quickly tried to think about a way to kill them all you couldn't think of anything until you noticed your 'vision' starting to glow. Within a minute all the hilichurls were dead. All you saw before that was a flash of f/e come out of your f/w. You decided to not question it and started walking again.
When you reached Liyue you were amazed. Everything was so beautiful and you didn't know where to go first.
💙Time skip a few hours💙
You were having fun until you noticed someone watching you. You felt a little uneasy.
'Somebody's watching me. I shouldn't give it out that I know about them'
You decided to walk around a bit more. The city was beautiful and you wouldn't let some creep ruin the great time you were having.
You walked to an area that was quieter and didn't have as many people.
"I know you're there. Why are you following me?" You spoke bravely.
"I thought I was being sneaky? Could you hear my breath?"
The owner of the voice came out of his hiding place. He had orange hair and blue eyes. He was a lot taller than you and you couldn't help but feel quite frightened.
"Why were you following me?" You tried not to sound scared.
"I was just hoping to introduce myself. I haven't seen you around here." He spoke with a friendly tone in his voice.
"Oh? I'm sorry fo being so rude" You said as you walked over to him. Now you saw the difference in height. He was even taller than Xiao.
"It's nothing! I understand your confusion." He chuckled.
"I'm Childe. Pleasure to meet you!" He bows. You blushed a bit at the gesture.
"I'm y/n. Nice to meet you too!" You said with a smile.
