William was hesitant to let you go back at the Inn you were currently staying at first, but he did not have the heart to wake up the servants to arrange (Name)'s room when it was so well into the night so he decided to walk with her as a compromise even when she told him it was fine, he insisted. When they were at the front of the building, (Name) turned to him with a smile,
"This is my stop, thank you for walking with me."
"It's nothing, I enjoyed our conversation. Besides, this is my first step in fulfilling your father's wishes," William decided to tease her a little.
His friend just snorted and rolled her eyes, making him chuckle in amusement, "Father can really be dramatic sometimes. I doubt that he can lay a hand on you. He treats you like the son he never had after all."
"And I thank him for accepting me as I am. On another matter, are you excited to meet your comrades tomorrow?"
The girl softly groaned, "I honestly don't know if I'll be able to sleep well tonight. My stomach's filled with butterflies. Okay that's an understatement, it may be an animal bigger than a measly butterfly."
William now realized that even if she was so headstrong, she's still a girl. He eyes her while she bit her thumb, a habit she does when she's agitated. He pried her hand away, "How can you be so nervous when you're already talking to the Captain of the Squad, very casually too."
"That's different and you know it! I've known you since the time you get depressed whenever you see some kid trying to strike a poor bird down!"
Even if it was an attempt to tease him, William only chuckled, "You have the courage to bring one of his embarrassing pasts, too. See, you'll be fine (Name). Just be your usual, amazing self."
Even with the glowing moon and twinkling stars as their only source of light, William could see her soft blush. How the tables turn, he mused.
"Your flattery will get you nowhere!"
"Ah, I beg to differ. It has gotten me this far," William boldly lifted the hand that was still in his grasp and pressed his lips softly on her knuckles, "Head now to your room and sleep well, (Name). I look forward to seeing you tomorrow."
William looked up to her through his lashes, he almost laughed again when he saw how flustered his friend was. At least this would take her mind off her nervousness. (Name) pulled her hand away,
"To off with you! Don't give a maiden false hope! Ah, geez!" The girl turned her back at the masked Captain, she scurried until she was at the door. (Name) softly called his name, "Goodnight,"
William just watched her practically ran to her room, hands touching his lips slightly to suppress a chuckle,
"She's still so adorable."

(Name) woke up with a start, she quickly head down for breakfast and went up again to take a bath. She looked at her reflection on the foggy mirror, she tried to give her self a small pep-talk to calm her down, "It's okay, (Name). They're just humans like you. William's there, too."
She took a few deep breaths, "Okay, let's do this."
She quickly dressed up and went about her way. When she reached the Golden Dawn's Headquarters, she immediately beelined for William's office. There were already members awake, and some casted a curious glance at her. The others looked at her warily as if she would attack them anytime, her stomach churned.
