Maya's pov
I looked as we were now back at school.
But strangely for the first time in my high school career my attention wasn't at school.
My attention was still at Josh while I knew things were going to change very quickly.
But how do you actually get over the fact that nothing will ever be the same?
"Maya, what's the matter? You've been acting so odd that the school is starting to gossip," Riley said causing me to look at her.
"Why?" I asked.
"Well you are acting odd," Lucas said as I looked at him.
"Huckleberry did I ask you? Sorry. My attention is everywhere except here. Josh has me quite in a tizz and don't ask me how I'm going to get over it," I said as my friends looked at me.
"Don't you think things will quickly change between the two of you?" Zay asked me as I shrugged my shoulders.
"Don't know. But I'll leave it to him. He's the adult and the one who needs to figure out what is going on," I said.
