Clay woke up in the late afternoon the day after the game. He was glad his family had let him sleep in so much. The sun was just starting to set, and the world had a surreal feeling it typically did when one woke up at odd times.
He got on his phone, seeing how much he'd missed during the day. Several texts from George and Nick, a couple from Dave, some email notifications to his school email, and a picture message from Toby.
George's messages were in the top of his notifs, so he read those first.
