Nervously, the kids went through the portal like door the two Hylians had conjured Wild led the front while Twilight came in from behind, with the 4th years sticking close with their younger Housemates. The rather large group found themselves on the Ordon Ranch. They gaped at the Ordonian Goats and other creatures roaming the farm area. Wild started splitting the children off into groups, keeping at least the houses together. For such a large school, the student body wasn't all that large this year. For each house there were only 10 new students, there were 20 in Year above too.

When Twilight came through, he closed the portal with a flourish and turned to look. All of the children were looking around in awe at the miniature mansion, the small house to the side where the house elves stayed, and around the different buildings that held the animals when they weren't out grazing in the large field. Rioma had already ran off to his horse while Wild was sorting people.

"For the rest of the day, you will work upon the Ranch. Working with the animals and the tools provided without magic. Once the work is done, if there is time before we need to return to the school we will give you a show of our skills."

"Why should we? This is the work of peasants! Making us workout and train is one thing but this means nothing!"

Twilight turned sharp eyes against Malfoy, who even the other Slytherins backed away from when those same eyes turned slitted.

"It's to teach you humility and hardwork, you stupid child. Something it seems you of the Slytherins don't know the meaning of. Here there are no Houses, no differences of blood. Even if Wild is sorting everyone into teams within their houses, which I was against but he recommended anyway. Something about the comfort of familiar people or some such nonsense."

Draco gaped, again, as Twilight walked off to start setting out jobs. Some were sent to work in the stables, others in the barn and others still in the chicken coop (where Draco's team was sent). The House-elves gave the kids tools for cleaning and sorting, and Rioma's team - consisting of Ron, Nevile, and Hermione - got to wash and brush the animals, and clean the hooves of the horses.

When the chores were done, at least to an acceptable degree by the instructors, everyone was sore, dirty, and felt like they couldn't blink without wanting to pass out. A couple of house-elves came around to give everyone freshly made lemonade which was gulped down without reserve, even the Slytherins abandoned decorum just to get a bit of refreshment. Rioma and only a couple of other Muggles were still standing with only a few aches, though the other muggles were in 4th year.

Twilight did wear a proud smile this time, ruffling the hair of the children with a grin. "And just think, Rioma, Wild, and I had to do this all ourselves when we first became a family and started up the Ranch. We didn't get help from the others till later. A promise is a promise though, Wild and I will demonstrate now some of the things you could learn in our class if you stick with it or are not removed."

Rolling his shoulders, both he and Wild loaded up with weapons. Swords, Bows and arrows, staffs and such. Standing in the center of the training ring they had, the students all sat on one side to avoid shots from stray arrows. Though Rioma promised none would get near the students since he would keep watch....and the protective spells around the ring.

Rioma called Start, and the children all sat back suddenly as the two in the ring clashed. Sparks flew from when the swords struck, and the rain of arrows that began to sprout from the ground all around the field. Twilight and Wild went at each other with every bit of training they had, yet also ensured they showed off their muscles and skills for the kids.

After another 20 minutes they stopped their demonstration after working up a decent sweat for themselves, getting a round of applause from the students.

"Mr. Ordon! Why did you and Mr. Wild learn those skills anyway, when you could have used a wand for battling?"

Twilight looked over to Hermione with a kind smile and shook his head as he wrapped a towel given to him over his shoulders.

"Where we are from there is no Wands, at least none that you would be familiar with. We had to learn to fight to survive and protect the ones we love. What good would you do if you lost your wand in a fight? Plus shooting an arrow is much faster in a battle then reciting some spell or another."

Everyone gave him a strange look, used to the normal Wizard duels and such which made Twilight roll his eyes. Wild spoke up, surprising everyone.

"Do you really believe every opponent will play fairly? What about that Voldemort fellow? He attacked my brother and who knows how many others unfairly."

Rioma blushed when everyone looked at him, but he turned his head to avoid looking at anyone elses' eyes. Twilight came and offered a small side hug, before sitting down and answering different questions.

By the time everyone returned to Hogwarts, they had an hour to go bathe and change into cleaner clothes - their robes returned to their rooms washed thanks to the house-elves there. The others of their houses couldn't believe how much they ate, all of them starving after the intense workouts and cleaning they've done.

Everyone was shocked even more when instead of their normal sugar filled dinners, it was a dinner filled with many fresh vegetables, fruits, and lean meats made in a variety of ways. Some of the teams who had the pleasure of working in the gardens at the ranch gaped as they recognized the fruits and vegetables as the ones they had picked, weeded, and planted. Instead of their usual pumpkin juice, they had a different pumpkin drink that while it wasn't as sweet, still had an addictive taste.

"To all who are confused on where your normal sugary and death increasing foods are, take a look. All of the fruits and vegetables you have before you were gathered from our ranch. Some of them are even picked by your very own housemates. I and Wild personally took charge of the cooking of the meals this evening, and I hunted the meat myself as well as prepared the beverages. From now on, we will be limiting your sugar intakes. This is not only for the benefit of those who continue our classes but for the student body as a whole to increase health."

Twilight held his tongue as the hall erupted in complaints from the children who wanted their sugary foods, and rolled his eyes.

"If you want a complete list of the benefits to eating healthier, there will be pamphlets handed out in each Common Room. Fear not though, we did not tamper with the desserts of any foods planned for holidays, even we're not that stupid to get between you and sugar completely."

Wild's addition to the small speech made everyone sigh in relief and laugh. At least they could still get sugar, even though many still grumbled over the food change, wondering why Dumbledore allowed it. Especially those of the 7th year, since they would be graduating soon anyway. Rioma was very happy that he could eat with the rest of his house, and even Ron ate his fill with multiple plates despite the change in course.

It was going to be an interesting year, that's for sure!
