Chapter 3: Muchiro
As you may or may not have known Muchiro is a Hashira at such a young age, with his incredible skills. He uses the breath of Mist which explains his personality.
His mind is cloudy and can't remember certain things. Although he tries his best to remember some important messages he always seems to forget. It never occurred to him that it had something to do with his back story.
Muchiro always would think about small and weird things like, "what type of cloud was that?" and "how many ants are on the floor?"
Muchiro would describe his mind as foggy explaining his breath form (Mist). It's almost like he knows he's forgetting something important he should know.
