It was five in the evening , Lee was still waiting for his friend . He was tired of calling him. The phone was ringing but no one answered . Lee was past understanding his friend's situation because today was the last day and he really hoped to see Marques on wheels, again. And Lee knew better that he needs a better distraction than what he is now addicted to. He took another deep breath and calmed down. A message popped on his phone . He quietly read it and his head started weighing more. It was about their exam that he and Marques needed to take . The message was about collecting their hall tickets from college.

"Another thing to remind him!" he shook his head groaning.

" Samuel was not well today , he is throwing a Tantrum on bringing the orphanage girl here." Evelina, Marques's mother looked at her husband who was sitting on the arm chair, ankle crossed and eyes closed.

" We need to do something about it, he has neither eaten anything nor drank. His temperature was rising a bit too when i just came".

After a long silence and coldness he opened his eyes and looked at his wife.

"So..What do you want me to do? Give that girl here a job and send Sister Ruby back?" Vincent asked sitting straight.

" That's not what I meant." Eleanor said standing from her vanity chair in the dressing .

"Then, what exactly you want?" he raised from his chair which in response made Evelina involuntarily took a step back.

" I mean, it could be nice if she visits thrice a week or twice even. That could make Samuel happy and maybe that may help him."

Vincent slowly was loosening his belt, taking it off, but on the corner was Evelina, sweating profusely and was preparing for an impact when he suddenly said.

" Once a week will do! You can choose the day." He threw the belt on the bed ,which immediately put her heart at ease.

" I will go check on Samuel after taking a bath. You can sleep." She nodded and went to bed as he headed to the bathroom.

After taking a shower, like he said he went to Samuel's room , but it was not to check on him.

"Sir, I didn't expect you at this hou.." she was interrupted with a sudden sharp slap across her face .

"You had only one job, only one and I told you to not mess it." Her heads hung low as the silent tears hit the ground.

" I apologise , sir" She had nothing better to say.

" I am not paying you to make apologies." The rage was still in his voice and he couldn't imagine a thing he had planned to go wrong. Not even a single thing.

" I have enough problems to be occupied now than to spend time on that futile child . You understand? Not another issue and you'll never see the world out ." He had her hairs around his fingers which he pulled purposely and she squirmed in pain .

" YOU UNDERSTAND!"

"Yes sir"

On Sunday morning , the first thing Evelina did was call her driver to escort her the Mary's .

Ruth was having breakfast with everyone in their dining hall and having their little talks when suddenly a boy came and announced that the Wildes have come. Everyone in the Mary's knows the Wildes well other than Ruth because she was the person that came last and since her arrival , it was this day the Wildes were coming. Mary's orphanage used to have a grant programme every year where every sponsors and other orphanage children would come and have talent shows and everything. And Mrs.Wilde usually visits once in three or four months, sometimes with her family.
