A/N: Here's a really short Oneshot of Glorybringer while I work on the other Oneshots so I stop feeling awful for not updating this. I'm so sorry that it's crappy, I kind of just wanted to publish something. This is a Human AU.

(WARNING: SOUL CRUSHING AHEAD!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!)

Does this count as angst? I'm not sure

3rd person P.O.V

"You may now kiss the bride," the preacher announced. (I have no idea what they're called so please bear with me TwT)

Deathbringer smirked at Glory and leaned in, capturing her lips. Glory kissed back with intense passion.

The guests broke out into applause and cheers and shouts of "ABOUT TIME!" But after a few seconds, the cheers started fading and awkward-throat clearing took its place.

They broke apart after several more seconds and smiled at each other.

Deathbringer pulled Glory into a hug. "I love you," he whispered.

"I love you too," Glory whispered back, tears of joy filling her eyes.

Deathbringer started fading in her arms. She pulled back to look at him, terror clouding her face. He looked at her lovingly as he slowly started to disappear.

"NOOO!" Glory shrieked at the top of her lungs, hugging him tighter. "NO! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME!" Tears poured down her face as she turned to the guests. Why weren't they doing anything?

The guests all stared at Glory with blank expressions. Among the crowd, she glimpsed Tsunami, Clay, Starflight, Sunny, Kinkajou, and many other familiar people, all with the same emotionless faces.

"HELP ME!" She cried at them. She wasn't sure what she expected them to do, but she couldn't lose Deathbringer.

They all shook their heads in unison.

"He's gone." Tsunami declared in a monotone voice.

"You must accept that." Clay agreed.

          "You must let him go."

          "You must let him go."

          "Let him go."

          "Let him go."

          "Let him go."

The crowd chanted the same thing over and over and over and over. Glory just cried harder and clutched him tighter. She sank to her knees, still holding Deathbringer as the words echoed in her head.

          Let him go.

          Let him go.

          Let him go.

          Let him go.

          LET HIM GO.

Glory awoke from the nightmare, shaking and crying violently. She looked around her hut for Deathbringer, finding nothing.

"Deathbringer?" Glory whispered to herself. "Deathbringer? Where are you?"

She sat down on the floor and cried. She cried and she cried and she cried.

She knew. She knew she knew she knew she knew. But she still wasn't ready to accept it.

          Deathbringer had died years ago.

I'm so sorry for doing this to you guys. I nearly started crying while writing it. I promise that better chapters are coming soon. With fluff. I swear. Please don't hate me TwT
