Kishima's POV:
I walked towards the teacher's lounge with my stomach in knots. What was I going to tell Mr. Aizawa? I couldn't even get the courage to tell my best friends whats wrong. And speaking of him, I've gone and gotten him in trouble because of me.
I found myself standing outside the door. I took a deep breath, but before my hand reached the handle someone tapped on my shoulder. I turn to see All Might standing there.
"A-All Might, sir," I said startled.
"Wow, didn't mean to scare ya kid." He said with a small chuckle. "I just wanted to talk to you real quick. I heard Mr. Aizawa saying something about you being sick. You feeling good?"
I nodded. "Yeah, just wasn't the best yesterday." I smiled.
"Good." He patted my shoulder. "I'm glad you're okay and as happy as ever. You truly lift everyone's spirits kid. If I saw your class yesterday, I bet a lot of students were worried about you."
I smiled my classic toothy smile.
"Now don't want to keep Mr. Aizawa waiting any longer." All Might said turning. "I'll see you around young Kirishima." Then, he walked away.
I placed my hand on the handle and opened the door. I looked around and saw a couple of teachers like Midnight and Present Mic. Then, my eyes landed on Mr. Aizawa sitting in front of a computer.
I took another deep breath and walked over to him. "Uh, Mr. Aizawa? You wanted to see me?"
He looked up at me with his tired eyes. "Yes, take a seat."
I'm in for it now. I grabbed the chair behind me and sat down.
Mr. Aizawa turned his chair to face me. He crossed his arms. "How are you feeling?"
"Oh, uh ... I'm doing fine. A lot better than yesterday." I was a little shocked by the question.
Mr. Aizawa stared at me for a moment. "I want you to be honest with me Kirishima. But, were you actually sick, or were you having home issues?"
I looked at him in shock. How did he know? Did he know? There was no way he did. Did he? "W-what do you mean, sir?"
He looked around. The other teachers were far enough away to not hear what they were talking about. He leaned forward and placed his elbows on his knees.
"Yesterday, right after class was out, I received a phone call. It was from your mother."
Fear filled inside of me. Was she really that pissed because I didn't answer my phone yesterday? What did she talk to him about? I didn't know what to say back to him. This is the same stuff that I couldn't even bring myself up to tell Bakugo.
"She told me ... a lot of things. Mostly that she was very upset over the fact that you didn't answer the phone. I tried to reassure her that you were probably sleeping because you were sick." Mr. Aizawa said keeping his voice low. "Then, she went on a rant about you."
I looked down and fiddled with my thumbs. "She told you how much she hated me, huh? Every tiny flaw I had. How I'm too weak to ever become a hero." I could feel my eyes begin to water. No one wants to hear that stuff from their own mother. It was worse when it came to his father.
Mr. Aizawa slowly nodded. He took a deep breath. "Kirishima, what's going on?"
I felt the tears coming down my face. I quickly tried to wipe them away and act like I wasn't crying, but Mr. Aizawa saw through that.
"Kirishima, I'm your teacher." He said placing a hand on my shoulder. "I want to help any way I can."
I took a couple of deep breaths trying to calm myself down. "I-I can't tell you e-everything. I j-just ..." A few sobs came out.
