Gerard woke up to his brother pounding on the door. " Get dressed! The bus will be here in a few!" Mikey yelled from the otherside of the door.
Gerard mumbled a string of curse words as he moped out of bed. He stretched some, then put on his clothes for the day.
He grabbed his bag and headed to the kitchen. " Morning." He spoke tiredly. His brother and parents only stared at him, mouths agape.
His mother was the first to speak. " Gerard Arthur Way! I thought I told you to wait! You didn't even get your roots!" She barked at him.
' Oh yeah, why he hadn't dyed his hair sooner.'
" It's alright mom! I wanted it that way! Besides it looks good, right?" He questioned, somewhat self conscious. He know took a piece of his hair and held it infront of his face.
His mother smacked his hand. " Of course it looks good, I just wanted to wait till I could help you," She sighed with a smile. " Now grab some toast and get going you two! The bus will be here any minute!" She spoke more sternly, basically pushing her kids out the door.
Mikey grabbed two pieces of grilled bread, handing one to Gerard as they walked out the door. " Do you think she will realize that the bus doesn't come for another 10 minutes?" Mikey spoke behind a mouthful of toasted grains.
Gerard only shrugged. " How was your sleep..?" He awkwardly asked.
Mikey slowly nodded. " It was good, I guess." He said, finally finishing his baked wheat square. Gerard nodded silently, stopping at their bus stop.

The Way brothers hated school.
Everyone that was somewhat nice last year, they just tolerated you now. The kids that thought they were better then everyone else, are now pushed around like the idiots they are. The Freshmen are way to happy. The kids that ignored Gerard last year are now swooning over him. Mikey is even more popular and loved-
Oh, and basically everyone is a fucking asshole.
Gerard just wanted to throat punch most of them. Most.
Gerard was currently in the back of his chemistry class. He was blankly staring at the front the class. The teacher talking about atoms, neutrons, electrons, or something like that.
Gerard was awaken from his blunt trance as a paper ball flew next to him. He looked up to see two girls giggling and blushing, turning away when he looked their way. He groaned.
He figured that in a week or two of no response they'd get bored with him and move to the next guy. Hopefully not his brother.
" Alright. There is no homework today, but tomorrow there will be a short assignment!" The teacher spoke, clapping his hands together once.
The class gave a mixed grumble of okays and alrights before the bell for lunch rang. He quickly grabbed his stuff and head to the lunchroom.
He felt a hand tap him on the shoulder. He turned to his right quickly to see his brother. " Hey." Mikey smiled, falling into step with his older brother.
Gerard nodded with a small smile. " How is it being back? Is being a Senior amazing?" He joked. Gerard gave a small chuckle.
" It's better than last year atleast," Gerard shrugged. " You?"
" Annoying. People either love you or hate you, there's no in between in this hell!" Mikey wheezed, shaking his head. All Gerard could do was chuckle.
He was right.

Gerard's attention was caught by a piece of notebook paper in the bathroom.
He looked at it caustiously before picking it up. He really hoped it wasn't a suicide letter. Thank god it wasn't.
It was just a bunch of numbers and a small note on the bottom that said 'Don't forget to bring your board Friday!!'
He slipped it into his pocket before heading back into the halls. He had to get out front before the buses left.
As he ran onto the bus he remembered something. He forgot why he was in the bathroom in the first place.
Fuck.
That was one long, painful ride home, to put it simply.
* Yo. With as many updates as I'm putting out, I might forget to update soon! Ah! Hope this is enjoyable.*
