Letters Goodbye (Kakashi x reader)

Regret? Of Course Not

(y/n) lived with Kakashi happily afterwards. Tsunade also given her the permission for her to stay there as a normal civilian in Konoha until she gave birth to her child with the exchange of the information about the Akatsuki. She was surprised to know that all of the members are dead except for her and Tobi. She only knew that they want to capture all the tailed beast and bring peace for the shinobi world but she doesn't know how they exactly will achieve that. She doesn't have any good information to give but that's the sign that she's not with Akatsuki anymore.

The Hokage also said that her punishment will be discuss after the war as they are now focusing on that said matter first. She's no longer a shinobi now, just a normal civilian.

Kakashi was resting with (y/n) on the bed while caressing her baby bump gently. He can't wait to see his child for sure. She will deliver at any moments now.

"A boy or a girl, (y/n)?" Kakashi asked while kissing her cheeks lovingly. That sent a huge package of blush on the woman's cheeks.

"I don't mind... A boy will be nice... A girl will be lovely too..." She answered while giggling in happiness. She never felt this happy before. Maybe, things will get better after the baby is born. If... She survived.

"I personally prefer a girl... I really want to take care of a princess together with my queen..." He said before leaning closer to her and gave her a soft kiss on her lips.

"Geez... Kakashi... Stop saying stupid stuff... Um... Kakashi?" She called him while playing with the hem of her dress.

"Yes? What is it, (y/n)?"

"Can you promise me one thing?" She said, now looking at Kakashi in his eyes very deeply.

"Anything for you..." He said, answering very quick.

(y/n) giggled at him, she knew can count on him in everything. "Promise me that you will come back alive from the war, Kakashi... And, take a good care of our child..."

"Of course I will, (y/n)... We will become a happy family after I come back from the battlefield." He said reassuringly.

(y/n) never told him about his illness yet. Should she told him? What if he hates her afterwards? But, what will happen if she never tells him? Maybe... It's better for him to know about this.

"Kakashi..." She called him, sounded a bit hesitant in her voice.

"Yes? What is it, (y/n)?"

"Umm... I have something to-"

A loud knock interrupted her from saying her words. Kakashi rolled his eyes, what an annoyance to ruin his sweet time with his love. He just remains there by (y/n)'s side, not wanting to bother about who's out there.

"Kakashi?"

"Nah... I don't wanna know. I'm still enjoying my time with you, no one can ever disturb me..." He said before closing his eyes.

"Fine, I will take the call..." She said, slowly rising from the bed to answer the door.

"Nonono... I will. You, rest." He said, sternly but sounds playful at the same time. He quickly went to door and opened it revealing Genma on the door.

(y/n) sat up from her lying position while waiting for Kakashi to came back. She's still thinking about her decision to tell him about her health. What if that will disturb him during the war? That's very dangerous!

Suddenly, Kakashi plopped himself back on the bed making (y/n) startled a bit from her deep thinking mind. Kakashi seems a bit sad during that time.

"Something's wrong?" She asked.

"Not really..." He sighed. Then, he lifted his face to look into her (e/c) orbs while cupping her face gently. "I need to go to Kumogakure tomorrow for the preparation for the war... I... I thought it will be next week but they changed the schedule..." He frown at his own words.
