Chapter 9: USJ pt. 2

You stood there, frozen as more and more villains appear out of the purple vortex."The hell is this." You hear Todoroki say under his breath. The whole class stood there, paralyzed. A large figure apeared. It looked like some kind of bird-man but it's brain was sticking out of it's eyes and it had sharp, yellow teeth. Someone gasps as it stand by the guy with all the hands around his body.

"The trespassing the other day was the work of these scumbags after all, huh?" Aizawa said. That's how all of those crazy reporters got into the school then, why didn't any of us have any suspitions! Aizawa's scarfs fly into the air and Thirteen puts her arm infront of us. The vortex moved around and turned into some kind of..shadow? I grabbed Todoroki's hand and squeezed it tighting, he returned the squeeze and looked up at the shadow.

"How did they get here? Are they at the school too?" Someone called out."Teacher what about the tresspass sensors?" Yaoyarozu asked, fear in her voice. "Did they only appear here, or around the whole school." You look up at Todoroki and see a serious expression of his face and not his usual expressionless one."Either way, if the sensors are not responding, that means that they have someone with a quirk that can do that." You let go of his hand and walk forward.

"We're in an isolated area separated from the main campus during a time when a class was meant to be here." You spoke loud enough for the class to hear." It's no coincedence, this attack was throughly planned. They have a certain motive to be here at this time." The class flinched at my statement. I crossed my arms and thought of what the motive could be.

"Thirteen, start the evacuation." Aizawa ordered."Try to contact the school. These villains even had something to counteract the sensors. It's possible that there could be someone who broke our connection with the school as well." He turned to Kaminari,"Kaminari, you try contacting the school with your quirk, too." Kaminari tenses up."Yessir" Izuku steps forward and shouts,"What about you, sir? Are you really gonna fight alone?" Aizawa just leaves without saying anything.

I feel someone grab my shoulder and feel relieved when I see it's just Todoroki. I look back at him and the rest of my class. They're scared, we're all scared. Todoroki grabs my arm and runs towards the entrance, I match my pace with him until I see Izuku standing back. "Izuku! Come on!" I shout but he ignores. Ida looks back,"I got this y/n, just go." I stop and hesitate. I have to protect them. I promised. Todoroki tugs on my sleeve and I hesitately run with him. I have to trust Ida to protect Izuku.

We run to the entrance but a purple vortex appeared infront of us. I stood infront of Todoroki and put an arm infront of him."I won't let you." The shadow says in a low raspy voice. "Sorry for coming so abruptly but its only appropriate that the symbol of peace takes his last breaths in U.A." the atmosphere tensed up. They didn't come here to kill us. They came to kill him, to kill All Might."I believe that he should've been here." The shadow turns its head towards you and stares into your eyes." Has there been some kind of change, y/n?" 

You felt chills run up your spine. How did he know your name? Why did he ask you of all people? The class stares at you in shock."y/n what is he talking about?" Todoroki says with a firm voice. You turn your head to face him." I don't know. I don't know who he is." Slowly turning your head you hope that he wasn't looking at you but he was.

"Who are-" before you could talk you feel yourself fall down into one of his vortexes. You look down and see a light and dive down head first. You brace yourself for impact but it never happens. You look up and see the shadow holding you by your feet. You send a beam of energy from your palms but nothing happens." She was right. I sense a strong aura in you y/n. It scares me." You feel your would leave your body as he said your name again. 

You turn your head to face him."Who...who are you talking about? And how do you know me?" You say with a shaky voice. " I think you know exactly who I'm talking about. I think her name was...Hitachi." You let your arms hand down and your body goes numb. Your heart raced and you took short quick breaths.

"LET GO OF HER YOU BASTARD!" you didn't even have to look to see who it was. Bakugo and Kirishima began to attack the shadow but it was no use, nothing happened. You felt your arms swing around as the shadows moved you in every which way but you didn't care, you didn't even bother to try to get out of his grip.

"Children get back here!" Thirteen yelled. The boys, of course, didn't listen. "My job is to scatter you and kill you all off!" the shadow let you go and you fell to the floor. You winced in pain as your arm made contact with the ground. "y/n! Are you alright?" Todoroki runs to you and helps you stand. You just look at the ground. What did he mean? How does he know her? " y/n!" He shakes you but you refuse to answer.

Suddenly, a purple dome is formed over you. You get your head out of the clouds and hold Todoroki close to you. Hot air pushes you in every direction."Don't let go Todoroki! Hold on!" You hold to your chest tightly and shield his face as the air pushes at the two if you. You hear the distant shouting of your classmates slowly disappear one by one. You hold him tighter and he wraps his arms around your waits and holds on to you tightly.

Everything happened at once. Only a second ago you were holding on to Todoroki like your life depended on it and the next you were free falling from the sky, Todoroki no where in sight. 

You brace yourself for impact and land right on your back, a cloud of dust surronding the area you fell in. You cough and gag as you inhale the dust and try to get up. Your eyes began to water as you crawled out of the dust cloud and into open air. You slowly stand up and dust off your pants and shirt.You scan your surrondings and see that you've landed in the landslide-zone.

'My job is to scatter you and kill you all off.'

His quirk must be warp, that would explain how you fell straight from the ground and into his grasp earlier. You look around again try to search for any other people that couldve fallen here, too. You begin walking north when a voice calls out. "Where do ya think your going?"
