He hadn't had an idea that it would turn out like this. He expected to successfully steal the treasure, not go and face a man trying to kill him and a kid that was caught in between. It was a shame the treasure ended up getting destroyed, but at least everything was all right now.

Having now safely landed, Silver Heart helped the young kid get off the small jet and unto the grass. He was amused by the way the small kid, Jack, was wobbling on his feet when he suddenly heard a door slam open.

"Grandpa!"

Said older man was caught by surprise and ended up cracking his back.

"Agh! My back!"

Worried, Queen ran to him.

"Grandpa, are you okay?!"

Jack immediately took hold of him and tried to get him to stand up to no avail. They both stared at each other, obviously wanting to know who the other was, but they decided to work together and try as best as they could to take Silver Heart inside the house that was just near.

It was after getting taken inside that Silver Heart fell into a short nap, tired of the previous occurrences that happened that night. When he woke up he was greeted with the sight of his precious granddaughter and Jack standing on the porch, both awkwardly standing a few feet from each other.

"Master is your grandfather?"

Queen nodded but then looked at him in shock.

"Master?! Does that mean you-"

Jack grinned and pointed proudly at himself.

"Thats right! Master will be training me to be a phantom thief from now on!"

"That means we both have the same goal then."

He could see Jack blink from here.

"Eh? You too?"

Queen smiled at him and Silver Heart had an alarm ringing in his mind when he saw how his new apprentice had a small red tint present on his face due to his granddaughter.

"Queen."

"What?"

Queen took his hand and Silver Heart swore he had a deep urge to head out there with them and separate them. His grandaughter was still too young to date any boys, but he discarded that idea since he knew they needed to properly introduce themselves.

"That's my name. I'm Diamond Queen, pleasure to meet you, Jack."

"Then, I'm Jack. Jack Jones. Nice to meet you, Queen."

This is when Silver Heart stood up from the couch he was laying on and made his way to them. He rested a hand against the top of the silver boy's head and ruffled it, alarming the young boy and girl of his presence.

"Welcome to the family, Jack."

"Family, huh?" Jack whispered, voice having a hint of pain.

Silver Heart guessed he wasn't the only one who caught that because Queen hugged Jack and spoke quietly but loud enough for him to hear.

"You have now become a part of us. Welcome, Jack."

They broke off the hug and the boy could only start slowly smiling warmly at the girl.

"Thank you."

Silver Heart saw it.

The little spark that awakened inside the boy and was now transparent in his eyes.

His granddaughter and his now apprentice?

He just hoped it wasn't what he thought it was or else he'd be chasing this boy with a shotgun.

For now though, he'd leave this boy alone and would have future Silver Heart deal with the boy that would with no doubt hold something for his grandaughter in many years.

Right now, all he wanted was some more rest after that night.

In the end, Silver Heart didn't have a chance to chase after him after what happened.

Man, I seriously hope this is actually making someone at least be like, "Hey, this is some decent writing." or I will die in shame. It's now 1 am for me so I'm really tired right now so I'm sorry for any mistakes and for any horrible writing. Imma head out now.
