Into the Future...Again?

Suddenly I felt something firm under my feet and I looked around.
I stood at the top of a familiar grassy hill. Everything smelled so clear, fresh, and crisp. The sky was a perfect bright blue, beautiful. Fringy clouds lingered in the sky. At the bottom of the hill, the two rivers were still there. Just this time, there weren't two separate cities, just one large, shinning city. As I walked down the hill, closer to the city I noticed that both of the rivers were crystal clear. I saw some boats on the rivers, big swan-like ferries and pretty little sail boats to. Laughter and music floated in the air. Then, I was at the foot of the buildings. They were huge, beautiful, and tall, and made of glass, marble, brick, and metal. The streets were paved with a glowing silver metal. Strange floating bubble vehicles traveled up and down. The displays were all colorful and happy. I noticed one unusual display featuring vacations to places in the solar system. It was noticeably much hotter but the people seemed happier and their clothes were varying greatly. One woman on the left to me wore a full gown that looked like it came from the 1800s; another man on my right wore a loincloth and a leather breastplate while the group of young kids in front of me simple wore jeans with comfy mesh-ey cotton shirts. There were huge banners all around. Celebrate 1,002,013! They said. Robots and all sorts of strange mechanisms filled the crowd along with mythical creatures! Fairies, unicorns, elves and all sorts of magical creatures walked around. One boy in the group in front of me pressed a button on his watch and vanished into a beam of light! I also overheard a lady talking to her husband who was on a work trip in Jupiter! Eventually I reached a giant crowd before me. Just like I had in 3,013 just the people in this crowd were happy. A lady was speaking from a huge stage in the middle of the crowd, "999,000 years ago folks, our ancestors gathered here. They were in the middle of a large global revolution. They argued and fought a lot. It was a terrible time. But, they chose the right path and here we are today benefiting from world peace and healthy lifestyle choices. Mythical creatures which we thought were gone have shown themselves and now like normally among us. We live in a strong, happy, and diverse community. Long live Caronetzom!" the whole crowd cheered. Caronetzom, a mix of the previous two cities: Caronwash and Metzowash. The future was a glorious place... I thought. Closing my eyes I absorbed the happiness of the people in this civilization.
