(One week before)

I slowly walk down the street to my interview, passing millions of big reflective windows. I study my appearance as I walk on. I have long wavy ginger hair and dark hazel eyes. I never thourght of myself as a pretty girl. I straighten my black lace cardigan thats flapping about in the wind. I walk around the corner and see the building that I will be attending my interview in. Before I reach the door I feel the burning sensation that someone is watching me. I turn around and scan the crowd. Everyone seems to be minding their own business, either walking back from the market or waiting for the bus. I turn back around and push open the front doors. I slip pass the silver doors of the elavator and press the button for level three. I silently wait for the elavator to reach my floor when I catch a glimpse of shadows moving in the corner. Strange, I'm the only one in the elavator. I heard the soft ping of the elevator arriving as the doors opened and quickly head on to the front desk.

"I'm here for my interview with Mr. Smith,"I told the office lady.

"Oh, didn't he tell you dear, all further interviews are cancled because he has already found an assistant. I am sorry that you did not recieve the notification in time, have a nice day." She gave a little wave with a fake cheery smile and started to type something on the computer. Since when were the interviews cancled, I thourght while walking back to the elevator. Suddenly I ran into something that felt like a fist punching a brick wall. I looked up and my mouth fell right open. A tall man with jet black hair and familiar emerald green eyes, stared at me with wide eyes as if suprised. I realized that my mouth was still open and quickly snapped it shut.

"Sorry,"I muttered, looking down. "That's ok,"he said in a smooth voice "but would you be so kind and tell me were the interviews are being held."

"There cancled, they already found someone."

"Oh well,"he said while turning "I must be leaving then."

"Wait," I yelled "do I know you?"

"You may not remember but I'm sure we have,"he said.

And with that he left the building and left me in the hallway confused.
What a wierdo I thourght. I walked out the office and started to head home.

A/N: so do you like the story so far? Do you want me to make the chapters longer? I know this one is really short. This is the first book I have ever made and I really do hope you enjoy it. Please feel free to leave suggestions. I am really nervous about what you guys think. Sorry about spelling and puntuation. See ya!
