I looked at him confused, didn't he try to get a job at last weeks canceled appointment? How can he get a job that fast between then and now?

"So, tell me why your here miss Evalyn."

"Well," I began "I believe that last week is repeating itself." This sounds even more crazier now that I've actully said it, I thought.

"Would you care to elaborate Miss."

" please just call me Evalyn."

"Ok Evalyn," he said slowly "tell me why you think last week is repeating itself."

"Well, last week I had lunch with my friend from England on Tuesday. She just flew in that day so we decided to hang out and then on Wednesday I made a appointment for a interview  for a job. On the next day I went to my interview and found out it was cancled and ran into a strange man I'd never seen but thourght I knew him. After I went home and I don't remember what came next."I said " but I remember sitting on the couch then everything went dark."

"How does this make you think last week has repeated itself."

I stared at Jake, my councilor, coldly and said " well maybe if you let me finish instead of interrupting you might find out."

"Sorry, continue," he said while gesturing for me to go on.

"I woke up on the following Tuesday and found a text on my phone saying that my friend had just landed and wanted to go out for lunch." I paused to let him draw in what I just said and continued.

"I was confused and told her that she had just got back to England and couldn't possibly go out to lunch. She replied that I was being silly and was trying to pull her leg so I went to the lunch anyway thinking that I was dreaming. Yesterday I got a call from a company saying that I had missed a interview for a job in one of there offices. After I called a councilor and landed a appointment for this afternoon.  Now I am here confused as ever and trying to remember if I have ever seen you or not."

I stared at my coucilor infront of me, hoping that he believed my story and would find out if I knew him.

"I know it sounds wierd," I began...

"I believe you but you are not ment to remember all of this," he said quitley.

He looked up at me and I could see tears building up in his eyes.

"Yes you may know me." He said in a shaky voice " but you have to forget all of this at once. Forget about me, my name and last week. I want you to leave this building and never come back." His voice began to grow louder and louder, almost yelling.

My eyes widened in shock. All of a sudden Jake stood up and picked up his laptop and threw it out the window. Smashed glass shattered across the floor and I can hear the shouts of suprised pedestrian down on the street." Your not supposed to remember.  How stupid of me," he mumbled , punching the wall in anger. I turned around and ran down the hallway in fright. I could hear my councilor yelling behind me to come back. I kept on running, trying to put as much distance between me and him as possible. I ran out the building and to the edge of the curve.  I hailed a cab and quickly scrambled inside. I slammed the cab door and asked the driver to take me home. Giving him my address, I slumped back in my seat and tried to steady my shaking hands. What just happened in there. Am I going mentally crazy? I squeezed my eyes shut and recounted the past two weeks. My week is repeating and now this, I thourght. I reopened my eyes and watched tall sky scrapers pass by the window as the cab headed home.
